  1. I just read about the "ship deck party" (no clue what this is LOL) but when might you think it will be on this itinerary .. Fakarava Rangiroa AT SEA Taha’a (Motu Mahana) Raiatea Bora Bora Bora Bora Huahine Moorea Papeete Thank you
  2. True in the US Virgin Islands (except replace the word "hello" with "good morning" 😂)
  3. For all of you that have travelled frequently in Tahiti, might you let me know of any local customs we should be respectful of that the locals appreciate. For example, in the USVI you always say "good morning", "good afternoon" or "good night" before you ask any question (so if you are looking for ketchup in a grocery store you would approach someone, say good morning, wait for them to reply and then ask "can you tell me where to find the ketchup please") and you would always say this also upon entering a store, a Dr's office, an elevator, a taxi, a classroom etc (I get looks when I get in an elevator in the States and say good morning out loud upon stepping in 😂) I tried to search for customs in FP online but it only took me to customs at the airport. Thank you

  5. @Tahitianbigkahuna - what are the hours for Snack Mahana do you know? - I see they are open at 11am but what time do they close as I can't find it anywhere. We land at 5:30am and will be on the 10am car ferry so were thinking of heading straight there as we can't check in until 3pm but know we will be hungry so wondering what the "wait time" might be around 11:30am +/- or if we really won't get in and should make other plans? Thank you for any help
  6. Just came across this on a few tour sites online so plan ahead if you were planning on going .. "Bloody Mary’s Closed for renovation from Sept.1st 2023 to August 31st 2024"
  7. Thank you @woodburc They are sold out but I found another company - 5 hours with a captain on a 17' so fingers crossed they are good.

  9. @woodburc can you tell me who you rented through please. I don't know if you saw my post but our helicopter tour we booked last year for Bora Bora just fell through so we are looking for something to do in Bora Bora so this sounds ideal. Thank you so much for any help
  10. @minidonuts85 Yes we did - they told us their base is closed until October 6th but I think our week is the first week they are closed (our flight was scheduled for September 14th)
  11. Hi everyone, Well last December we booked and paid in full for a helicopter tour while we are in Bora Bora that well, you guessed it, just cancelled so now we are in need of any recommendations of great tours or things to do. On our second day we do have a half day snorkel tour booked with Bora Bora H2O (thank goodness) so any other ideas are very much welcomed. Thank you so much
  12. 😂 @flygod our next SeaDream is not until 2025 but it is a 14 day with a stop in Monte Carlo for the 2025 Grand Prix .. woo hoo
  13. @oakridger - if you haven't tried the Veuve Clicquot Rose Rich give it a try - it is very different. Pour over ice in a wine glass and serve with fruit, tea, vegetables or spices (I only use pineapple, raspberries or strawberries I can't come to try red peppers or ginger etc 😂) .. very different and very good (I have only had the Rose Rich) .. https://www.veuveclicquot.com/en-us/our-champagne/rich-collection
  14. Thanks @jen.claire.389 I assume wearing stuff more than once (OK maybe more than twice 😂) is OK also
  15. @jen.claire.389 - quick question if you don't mind (and I just posted this as a separate question as well) .. as you were just onboard, I am wondering exactly what the dress is for ladies at night ... I know what the "official" description is, but is it silky maxi type dresses for dinner or something a little less "fancy" (not that these are fancy but hopefully you know what I mean 😀) We are used to SeaDream so very familiar with the type of outfits for evening when onboard but as this is our first time I'm trying not to overthink but yea, thats not happening 😂 Thank you for any help
  16. We are sailing on Wind Spirit 11 nights Tahiti in a few weeks and as this is our first time on Windstar I am wondering exactly what the dress is for ladies at night ... 17. If Wind Spirit has a departure time of 6pm from a port when would be last boarding .. 5:30pm? Trying to plan a shore excursion and want to make sure we have enough time. Thank you everyone
  18. So for all of you frequent visitors, might anyone know the approx cost of a bottle of Veuve Clicquot Rose in Tahiti (I assume it is available) or would it be best to purchase a few bottles at LAX at duty free (if they have it) Thanks everyone
