I’m looking forward with great anticipation to reading your take with respect to O & X. We are among the many Celebrity (Retreat) refugees trying other lines and taking our first O cruise (Riviera) in late September.

Our CC was charged as soon as we booked La Reserve for our late September cruise. (Also first time O cruiser.)

Babysteps, I’m looking forward to more random reports! Helpful information regarding Galataport! We will be overnighting/disembarking there in October.

We have been to Santorini twice (and a third time coming up in September). I would suggest getting your own cable car ticket and meeting your guide at the top for an island tour for a full day tour. That is what we did on our past two trips and it worked out perfectly. We saw everything! On our second trip there were six of us and our guide made a reservation at a wonderful, much, much less touristy restaurant. Guides are expensive but in our opinion worth it, especially here!

JDPCruisers, you are able to upgrade the beverages included in Simply More for I believe $30 pp per day. We are longtime Celebrity Retreat cruisers as well going on our first O cruise in September on the Riviera. I have been unable to upgrade online but from what I have read on CC it is quick and easy to do onboard. Our first cruise post pandemic was on Crystal prior to their demise. Everything was superior to Celebrity and we found we enjoyed a smaller ship. We are hoping to love O just as much!

Good to know one would fit on a regular PH balcony on the Riviera. No doubt my husband would be napping on our veranda if we had one!

They may not understand now but the cumulative effect of doing things like this over the years surely will impact their thinking.

Istanbul Shuttle Here is who we are using in October for transfers to hotel and then airport after reading several very positive reviews (on CC and elsewhere).

Returned a week ago from France and the AmaKristina. The vast, vast majority were dressed casually (including blue jeans) for dinner. Everyone looked neat. Depending on when an afternoon tour ended many wore the same thing to dinner with some perhaps changing a top.
