Used Amtrak after our cruise in November.
We had no problem disembarking and taking a cab directly to the Fort Lauderdale Amtrak station and making the 8:50am train to Orlando.
(Bad news now as they have cancelled the Silver Meteor (temporarily, at least not running in March for our next cruise) that goes directly from S Fla to Orlando..The Silver Star goes to Tampa and then back tracks to Orlando adding a couple of hours)
We are going to LKL Lakeland south....it's showing on site going
How much did you pay for taxi

Thank you

Anyone lately ever go to the Amtrak station from the port after the cruise? I am looking into it and didn't know if you have a hard time ever just being on a cruise and also didn't know how much a taxi is to the station from the port. I am looking to see maybe take it to Lakeland Florida South(LKL) Thanks

Wow.
Thanks for the awesome suggs above.
We requested & got luggage tags #8, so we're 10 minutes behind the self-disembarkers, scheduled at 7:40am vs 7:30am.
#8 was called at 7:50
luggage was ready
Immigration took 5 seconds, Port Everglades terminal is the fastest & most efficient ever.
Out of terminal at 8am
In taxi 8:05am
We did see 2 big empty busses to the airport waiting for people...
arrived airport 15 minutes later, 3 hours for our flight.
Awesome!
Thanks everyone!!!
How much was taxi?

Which carnival cruise in November is the most likely to be cancelled as of now?
I am on Magic ....Nov 14th well hope to be...LOL
I just holding off making excursions if to know if it will really happen instead of tie up more money!

Bummer here I got my email... we was to be on Jan 9th for my daughter's college graduation gift. I don't know to just change it to another ship or not...if there will even be cruising by then.
Anyone hear if you can take future credit for just 2 and refund one ...cause she will not be able to go any other month.
-
I am not knowing what to do .. we had Jan 9th and was going to be my daughter's college graduation gift. I don't know if cruising is going to be even happening to move it to something else or just plan a different vacation for her. If you can take 2 of the 3 for future cruise credit and not her she will not be able to go later if you can get that part refunded?
-
Well my Jan cruise was canceled due to can't complete the ship in time.
Now I really thought this was going to be gone first.
I don't know what to do for that one if it is safe to book anything.
They will give you 125% future credit (RCI) but I don't when to even think.
I think it won't go until a vaccine is out.

My thought if I have to wear a mask anywhere on the cruise I sure hope they allow you to cancel without penalty because I will not go. I have to wear them at work and don't want to do that on vacation!!!

Anyone ever do this excursion with Carnival? I didn't know how in Belize the zipline is concerning safety and if it is one if you have to pull yourself back in if you get stopped. What it was like? Thank you

So has anyone been to Eden Rock lately? We are going in Novemeber and has been years since we've been here. Is it still a great place to see the Tarpon ect?

thank you everyone!

sorry....wasn't thinking about it is in the rate I thought it as a additional charge not room rate...makes sense was the first time I am ever going to do it with the refundable charge that you do at the end.
I just like the old days that all was refundable and could transfer with out charges.
Now I don't tend to book ahead of time like I use to only if it is for a special occasion and certain ship and room I want.

It is the total price that they look at.
so then it most likely would be the new charge of $166 at that time cost for refundable charge.
-
I noticed our cruise went down $182 and didn't know if they will keep my refundable charge the same when I booked it....was only $94
now if you do a dummy reservation it is $166 for that part.

I booked the Magic for Nov 2020 has been 2003 since I have been on a carnival cruise. Have been on RCI but now I want to try something different. So love hearing what everyone thought of the Magic. We are doing the cloud 9 spa cabin, have never been in one.

I just don't see the plus like it use to be...since I like the refundable deposit if I am booking way advance.
