  1. I just want to say this thread inspired me to switch our midship jr suite to one all the way aft 😂
  2. My youngest was on his way out of naps. We got a cabana one of the times thinking it would be good for a nap but he refused. He then promptly fell asleep 3 seconds into the tram ride 😂
  3. We’ve gone twice while my son was a toddler and I’d say skip the stroller. It’s a pain to drag around especially in sandy areas and it’s annoying and a nuisance to put on the tram. The walking really isn’t too bad if you’re utilizing the tram.
  4. We already have March 2024 booked 😅. If it goes down we’ll price adjust but so far it’s only gone up.
  5. We had a balcony gty on the Anthem in April. We ended up with an obstructed balcony on deck 6 midship. When we book gty we just assume we’ll end up with an obstructed so we were just happy that we got a location we liked.
  6. We had bid on the panoramic suite on Oasis. Both were booked but they must have upgraded also because we ended up getting it. It’s worth a shot.
  7. I love the Windjammer for breakfast. I don’t like eggs so I’m not usually a breakfast eater but on a cruise I could stock up on all of the yummy breakfast carbs that’s I don’t eat at home. I could live off of those hash browns 🤤
  8. Our last cruise was in April but aside from them having to wear masks it was pretty normal. We went the week before spring break in our area but there was still a decent amount of kids on board and we never once were turned away in either of my kid’s age group.
  9. We’ve only ever sailed Oasis and Anthem of the two I prefer Anthem. I feel like that will probably change as my kids get a little older but for now we find the Anthem to be a better fit.
  10. That seems to be a pretty standard price currently. When we booked it for our Sept 2021 cruise we only paid either 800 or 900. We also split it with my parents so for us it was a deal and worked out to be cheaper than buying regular beach club passes. We also did the regular cabana and not the over water one.
  11. We sailed Oasis in a star class suite and had a wonderful experience. There were no added perks at Coco Cay aside from things like the drink package working on the island as it would for anyone with the package. We had booked a beach club cabana and our genie escorted us there and assured we didn’t have to wait for a tram to get there. Overall I couldn’t recommend star class enough and our genie truly made the experience special not only for us but our kids. They still talk about him and to me that made it more than worth it.
  12. Also I’m short so my husband’s view was even better 😂
  13. We were in 6196 last month and this is a picture I took of the sunrise but you can kind of see how high the boat goes up. Overall aside from looking down to see the ocean I still felt like we had a decent ocean view.
  14. We just did a guarantee on the Anthem and we’re happy with our assignment. We ended up in an obstructed which we figured would happen but location was perfect. For the price difference we paid I think it exceeded our expectations.
  15. On the anthem now and looks like they had something called Get Up & Dance Fit this morning in Two70 but doesn’t look like it was an everyday thing. Plenty of live music.
  16. Currently on board with my vaccinated 6yo who did an antigen test 2 days before. My unvaccinated 3yo was able to do a rapid NAAT test from Walgreens which counts as a PCR.
  17. Took my son to Walgreens for his test today so it’s not company wide. I think some locations are just scaling back. If you have another location by you I’d recommend making a backup appointment just in case.
  18. We haven’t cruised since September but it was fairly seamless. Pre-cruise it was just set up as the last stop before boarding. We received in email about a week in advance to register. The one on the ship we received a letter in our room the night before. We went down to the conference room where they were doing them and were in and out in 5 minutes.
  19. We are sailing next week and I’m setting up testing. 3/4 of us are vaccinated but my youngest is still too young. I booked him for a PCR test for 3 days out but noticed that Walgreens has rapid NAAT tests that they say counts as PCR. I would assume that would mean yes but just want to see if anyone has any actual experience with it.
  20. Has anyone used this test on an unvaccinated child? It says on Royals site they consider it a PCR but just want to double check and see if anyone has any experience.
