  1. Not 'entirely' true. we had a situation where our 1 device got kicked off the network, but when I tried to log in using the exact same device, it said the device was still on there. they told me it happens from time to time so they just reset the account and then at that point, any device could have been logged back in. Could have gone from tablet to phone. In theory I could have done that multiple times to hop from device to device, but I'm sure they would be upset at some point. With OP having 3 devices package, you could say you got confused one what device was logged in under what ID and play dumb and have them consistently reset it, but you would be playing with fire so to speak.
  2. I have a trip coming up, but my trip is not till Nov 2023. When I go to the photo packages it will allow me to select one person to buy the photos under. Personally, I'm buying the all digital package. You don't get any printed photos from the cruise, but who cares? Those can be bent or ripped or scratched on the way home. The digi package for a 7-day cruise is $175. They are available to be downloaded from a MSC website for 6 months after your trip. Download them to your phone as you cruise if you like and then to your computer once you get home. You can upload them to Walgreens/CVS/Costco ect websites and then have them printed. Hell, you can download to your phone, upload them to Walgreens (or wherever) while waiting to get off the ship, and they will be printed before you home. You get to pick which ones you like, pick the size you like, ect. I haven't done it yet, but I am planning to do one of those little collage books to commemorate the trip. It was nice to take all the professional pics without the pressure of, is this the one that I like? How about this one? If you buy one of the 5 photo packages, then you have to pic and choose the 5 you like. Myself, the gf, and the baby, we just made friends with all the photographers and had them take as many pictures as possible. Instead of just taking one picture, we would do multiple poses. One of me and her, me and baby, just her and baby, one with all 3 of us, then another with silly/stupid faces. You get the point. All the port stops, dinners, special events, embarkation - multiple times, ect. Think we ended up with 200 or so pictures. It was well worth it for use. Once you know you have unlimited, go nuts, take a ton. It is all digi so you aren't wasting anything. Worse thing that happens is when you go home, you take a lot of time to go through the pictures and delete the ones you don't like.
  3. My first cruise with MSC was 2021 and one of the photo options was like $150 for 8x10 and unlimited digi photos. Anytime you got a pic they would beep your card and it would be uploaded in a few hours and it worked out pretty good. I just booked another cruise and that option isn't there. Do they still offer it? will it show up later under offers? only available on board? Thoughts?
  4. that is my dilemma. Right now I can get free kids and free balcony and $200 credit, OR free wifi and free drinks. Since Healthcare Discount includes free kids, I would love to do promo #2 and add the free kids. I just don't want to get tied to that promo as it is more expensive and then they say its not combinable.
  5. I took my 20 month old toddler in 2021. He was known by staff as the boy in the cart. We put a car seat in the back of this canvas wagon thing, gave him a tablet with wifi, and at the front was his diaper bag. It had more room than a stroller and the bigger wheels made it easy to wheel on the beach. Sometimes he walked, but he knew that was his safe space
  6. Anyone have any info about the healthcare discount recently? It says it is combinable with other promotional rates, just wondering how quickly they respond and how it all works out. I'm looking at taking 2 adults and 2 kids. The sailing has a free balcony upgrade, kids free, + $200 credit OR free drinks and wifi. I'm hoping to do the free drinks and wifi plus free kids that comes with the healthcare discount. The second rate is $250 higher with the kids fee removed, but I figure the value of the free drinks and wifi is better deal overall since I was going to buy those packages anyways. Anyone deal with this discount recently and/or combine it with other discounts/promotions? https://www.msccruisesusa.com/cruise-deals/promo-terms-and-conditions Up to 10% OFF ALL Cruises (except World Cruises) 5% for Inside and Oceanview categories, 10% for Balcony, Suite, and Yacht Club categories. 7. On my cruise last year I took my 1.5 year old. I had him in swimming diapers and shorts and he was just fine. No accidents. No one asked or said anything. Maybe I was a jerk for it or just lucky nothing happened, but he was in the water at least 10 times on board during our week cruise.
  8. I was on the Meraviglia a year ago today. The Msc for Me app was worthless on an Android phone and there was no texting. I was told that functionality was only on Apple phones. It has been a year so unknown if that has changed. Can anyone confirm texting is available on Android or is it still an Apple only thing?
  9. So not much different then what's currently going on. Right now selected sailings have kids go free, I'm assuming this may be all kids are free? I have a 3.5 year old sailing and maybe a 13 year old so that matters to me. Would love free drinks and especially wifi too
  10. Trying to decide on which one to do, the circle around Cuba with Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Jamaica, OR the east side route Dominican Republic, Pueto Rico, Virgin Islands. I've been to Cozumel before, but didn't do much there, but at the same time I'm not sure about going to US destinations, even though they are not US states. I will be traveling with a 4 year old and one other adult. What's the pro/cons of each itinerary??
  11. I booked a cruise the week between Christmas and New Years in December 2020 for a Nov 2021 sailing and I got a really good deal. I'm trying to decide should I book a Black Friday deal or wait for the after Christmas, I didn't get what I really wanted for Christmas deals.... Right now they are offering free kids deals OR free wifi and drinks. It would be nice if I could get both 😁
