  1. We are staying two pre-cruise days in Cape Town. Looking for recommendations of hotel near the cruise port.Thank you in advance.
  2. We will arrive in Manila on November 28th, Terminal 1. From what I have read all foreign passengers arriving at Terminal 1 must complete the Philippines Custom Declaration online within 48 hours of arrival. Under “General Declaration” should I enter $0 since I am traveling into Manila from the USA and have nothing to declare other than my clothes I packed, wedding ring, etc. I am not bringing in any of the items and/or items amounts listed and certainly not the monetary amount listed. I have completed E-Travel and we have our QR codes/green pass.
  3. DH and I are blessed with an excellent PCP. We give her the countries we are visiting and she does the research on vaccines needed. I feel more comfortable with doing this since she has our medical records and knows our health background. This works for us.
  4. Please click on the link I provided to see what is involved in the process.
  5. We heard the same thing so we booked a pickup too.
  6. Sorry it did not work out for you applying on your own.
  7. Great! Enjoy your cruise!
  8. You are more than welcome.
  9. This is the official website: Vietnam evisa - National portal on Immigration (xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn)
  10. Contact your credit card bank. The first time I tried to process our Vietnam visas I got an error message. I connected my credit card bank only to find out they flagged the transaction as fraud. Once I gave them the information they requested I had not problem with the Vietnam and Indonesia visas. Just a suggestion.
  11. Sorry, I am sailing NCL. Have you called Viking or went to roll call.
  12. You can use a single entry visa. A multi entry visa is require only if you leave Vietnam, port in another country and then return to Vietnam.
  13. Great! Which cruise line are you sailing?
  14. Once you enter the correct postal code all of that information will automatically populate on its own.
  15. I believe it took me to payment. Once I put the credit card info in, my bank flagged the transaction as fraud and I got an error message. Once I contacted the credit card bank, I started all over again and this time the payment was accepted. I received a payment confirmation and a registration code visa email shortly after. Three business days later, I received an email our visas had been approved and a link to download them.
  16. Once again, it took about three business days for our Vietnam visas to be approved. I downloaded them, printed them, and they are tucked away in our passports. I also did a screenshot of them just in case.
  17. A single entry visa will cost you $25. Once submitted it will take about three business days for approval. At least that is how long it took for me to get approved.
  18. I am on a b2b so I applied for a multi-entry visa as I am entering the country of Vietnam twice once n each cruise. If you are on only one cruise with back to back Vietnam ports then you can do a single entry visa as you are entering the country only once. Let me know if you have any more questions.
  19. Happy to hear you were able to get your visa for Indonesia. What about Vietnam?
  20. Yes, I secured visas for my husband and myself. Once I made payment it took about 15 minutes to get an email they had been approved. I downloaded them and they are in our passports. I applied for the B213 visa. I did not sign in. Make sure you are on the correct site. There are a lot of fakes out there. Here is is official website: https://molina.imigrasi.go.id
  21. We are on this cruise and the one after. I entered Nha Trang as the port of entry and Vung Tau as the port of exit. Our visas were granted using these entry and exit ports.
  22. Exactly why I did not use Visa Central and applied myself. They are too expensive!
  23. Stay healthy and enjoy any upcoming cruises you might have. 😄
  24. We check with our PC physician. We give her a list of all the countries we will visit and she does the research. Vaccines are recommended based on her research and our medical history. I would never trust anything dealing with my health to an “experience Asia traveler’s practical advice”.
