Mark me down in the "do not like" column.  That said it really did not impact my cruise experience.

I think this is an interesting post.....sure beats another tipping thread.

I only book a cabin on a deck that is sandwiched between decks that are exclusively cabins.

I'm not annoyed by the cutbacks.....I just choose to spend my vacation dollars elsewhere.  I used to cruise 2-3 times a year.  Now it is just once a year.  Spending my vacation dollars on land based vacations

I agree with you assessment of the main dining rooms.  While it is not specialty quality, it is more than good enough.

Celebrity Cruise Entertainment Question? 

It's underwhelming

I actually think the last week goes by quickly as I am so busy with:

• Making sure I'm caught up at work
• Packing 
• Booking airport parking
• Stopping the mail
• Having dinner with my daughter
• Etc.....

But it's all worth it for a cruise.

Never had a problem sailing out of Tampa.  There are many hotels close to the port.  Get there early and you will be fine.

I watch prices like a hawk up until final payment.  After that......not so much.

To be honest, in over 30 cruises and I've never felt any ship I sailed on was dirty.

So far, MSC has the best fresh pizza at sea, IMO. Any pizza sitting under a heat lamp in the buffet will be bad, though. Must...be...fresh.

Haven't tried MSC but Carnival had really good pizza when I used to sail on that line back when my kids were younger.  Moved on from Carnival years ago so I don't know if it is still good.
