  1. It works. For all types of cabins. Not sure on wine but better services ….oh yea. I know it’s not the norm we came to enjoy with Celebrity but…. Smaller cabin, Specialty Rest. Lots of upfront tips and yes its another experience
  2. I know nobody wants to hear this one……..but nothing that $50 wont fix. Lol
  3. I agree Lena 11033. The only reason we book a Sky 1 or 2 is some of the perks like Luminae and the lounge. Even then we are trying a CC on Eclipse this spring for the first 7 days of a B2B followed by a CS for 14 days. Figured as nice as Luminae is for Breakfast everyday, ( must do thing in the morning for me since my better half sleeps in late ) being on deck 12, close to the pool was a better deal. At almost $1250 per day, will just eat at the specialty Rest. And get treated like kings. Also, tip the crap out of the room steward and believe me you’ll get all you want. I’ll have to share a story on another thread some day of how tipping lots can really make a difference. I know that can be a touchy subject but we can choose to throw our money around in an upper suite or everyday to the crew as we want and get just as much. Trust me… some friends we traveled with, did this and crazy the attention they got and they only cruised once with Celebrity.
  4. Our last cruise on Infinity was still very nice. The new higher cost and cuts in tips had not caught up yet. Well we shall see how things work. We have a free 7 night cruise in January since turning Zenith. It’s in a magic carpet suite (we had to pay an extra $150/night to move up from a veranda ) to the lowest level suite. 60 days later were doing a 7 day on the Eclypse in a CC followed by 14 nights in a Sky 1 suite. Curious how service carry’s over from 1. Style cabin to the next. (Wasn’t gonna pay $1275 per night on the 7 day for a sky suite.). The CC cabin was almost 1/3 less. The 14 day was just under $1000 per night due to on board credit from ship and agent. Also still got the free tips that have now gone away. I will report back after the 1st cruise in January.
  5. We received $1250 from X on a 13 day. Sky Suite and $1350 from agent. Crazy tried to book the next 14 day return to Liberty and tips not included and only $450 from X. X is starting to tighten up for sure.
  6. If you try to rebook a new cabin and those perks are not available you will loose those if they are no longer included. Be careful when you rebook. We would have had to give up tips and $1000 OBC on the 13 day South America cruise
  7. We are doing SKY1 for first 13 days in April but gonna step down to C1 on pool deck for the next 7 days. Crazy they wanted $1500 PER DAY for the next 7 days in Sky suite. Will just hang out at the pool doing the B2B for less than $500 per day. Lots of other ways to spend the money. Answer yes you will loose money if you downgrade after non-refundable. Plus all perks
  8. Take an excursion with the ship to the local spot. Sit next to someone on your trip. We did fine. Gonna olive the beach and coral if you snorkel.
  9. I can see how it still concerning. Kicker. We were schedule to fly to Israel today for 2 weeks. Declaration of war by cabinet. Hopefully it doesn’t effect the Canal. Hope ya the best
  10. Thats crazy Northern Aurora. We get offers all the time for cruises VIA a zenith and they address you with the title and how many points you currently have. I would check and see if they have your info correct.
  11. Just never experienced anything like that before. It’s hard to believe they were serious or maybe in some way just joking. We have more fun watching some passengers than the entertainment on board. 😏
  12. Nice of Celebrity to restore. Smart move, now that were mostly passed the Covid problem. It really is a good feeling getting back the perk. Hey they could have just moved on at this point but chose to look and offer this give back that makes little difference with the effect it will have on Suite folks Great move Celebrity
  13. Try booking a refundable deposit cruise for later next year and then youMAY…MAY be able to change to your next choice. Haven’t done it but its worth asking
  14. Yippie Celebrity. We all did good complaining. Look let them smoke in the areas on the ship assigned. Folks need to smoke i understand. Make it available but not at others expense. Great job Celebrity
  15. Thanks for info Swann5 great you reported. Everybody needs to report any idiot vaping in. Food area. Show stopper for me. If we pay they can fix there problem
  16. Yes. Agree just needed to refresh sorry. Alls fixed 😊
  17. Anybody having problems viewing cruises on the Celebrity site? cant seem to load any upcoming cruses to book
  18. Thanks. I just bumps it up to the front page
  19. Yep. Even when the test wasnt going on we saw people vaping at a show. It’s gonna get out of control fast if they officially allow.
  20. Hi Any new updates on vaping in the Casino? Haven’t head any reviews or comments on the test run. Thanks
  21. Padgman1. Frankly i like the 1 on 1 Butler rather than the team. I wouldn’t. Say i pay before service, however with a team serving i will probably tip as we go so that they know we are not holding back. Yet to be in a SS so it will be a learn as we go. Do i like it.. no So we shall see
  22. 👍 agree karmamule. As you tip..word will get around. I bet though they pool their tips (team Butlers)
  23. So. Question?? Its probably answered in the long list of complaints😏. Do the Sky suites now share butlers or get no butler service at all? If no Butler services… is there a cutoff of suites CS, RS and above ? Thanks
