  1. That's just local drinking ages. The question was about if a parent could give permission for those underage to drink once in international waters which RC no longer allows.
  2. Has anyone tried "changing" their password to their current password?
  3. Looks like it's $10 for AO now After 10 p.m., kids attending Adventure Ocean, AO Juniors and AO Kids can join the Late Night Party Zone until 1 a.m. at an hourly rate of $10 per hour, per child. https://thepointsguy.com/guide/royal-caribbean-cruise-kids-clubs/
  4. There is a fee (like $8-10 per hour) in kids' club after 10pm. But we rarely saw anyone using that.
  5. No need to pay anything extra for beverages unless you want something with alcohol or carbonated. Even then you can bring your own wine and soda on board. No need to pay anything extra for dining. Kids club is included. Excursions can cost anything from free or a few dollars (walk to a beach or take a taxi) to $100+ per person. There are plenty of free activities on board, so don't think you have to pay for anything there unless you really want a formal photo taken by a crew member or a massage.
  6. That'd be perfectly fine. Of course he wouldn't have any suite perks, but he could certainly stay in the room.
  7. Once the cruise is booked with a TA, the only thing you can't do yourself (besides edit the booking itself) is book pre-paid grats or change dining times (I'm sure there's a few other trivial exceptions). The cruise planner is open to you no matter how you booked. So are all check-in activities.
  8. At Port Canaveral? They don't check times. You won't be able to go to your room until 1pm or so.
  9. I was on last month and while the advertised times were 5-8 both food and bar service started at 4:30.
  10. Australia has different rules for a lot of things.
  11. There was a survey done about a year or so ago that found the number of first time cruisers who said they planned to sail again was significantly up.
  12. They won't. But newbies make up a bigger percentage of those on a ship than they ever have in the modern cruising era.
  13. Based on the numbers, most certainly yes. While I know it's just a single data point among many, my cruise last month was 3900 out of 4000 total occupancy on Adventure with nearly half being first time cruisers.
  14. I thought I've recently read that first time cruisers are at an all time high.
  15. It's listed directly on the suite perks website https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/what-are-the-benefits-of-the-suites-program
  16. Entrees come out one at a time. Apps may come at once.
  17. Only if you order a Don Johnson Miami Vice, not a Colin Farrell Miami Vice.
  18. Alcohol has the highest mark up of any product in a restaurant, so sure, going to the liquor store yourself would be a lot cheaper.
  19. Actually they're quite competitive with any urban/suburban bar/restaurant, if not cheaper.
  20. There essentially is another tier right now since D+ get extra perks when they hit 340 points.
  21. It's a status match on Celebrity, not a benefits match. You just get the Celebrity benefits of whatever status your RC one matches up with.
  22. Debit cards are always a tough thing to use for payment on board.
