  2. Is there a website that tells where specific ships dock at various ports? I am wondering where the Star will dock in Sydney in February.

    Thanks!

There is an 18 month pdf manifest on sydneyports.com.au/marine services b44e10d81d315a8d78b6b5e3a8dbe631.jpg

Type something like "port of sydney cruise ship schedule" in to Google and you should find your answer easily.

  3. We have a cruise next summer and stopping in Warnemunde, June 2017.

What are the thoughts of renting a car their and driving to Berlin and back? Is Berlin easy to drive?

I have driven the Autobahn a couple years back for ED on our BMW so familiar with the high speeds. The route is A19 - A24 - B109, I am sure most segments are not speed restricted so averaging 100 mph is doable. Google maps says 2 hours and 20 minutes if thats the case it saves much time from the train and ship excursions.

You will love Berlin. I was there in August for 3 days, retracing steps of my earlier years living there. Everything was well signposted as we noticed on our hop on hop off tour. Wasnt long enough though.

  4. The museum which gives you a lot of information of the Batavia and coral coast. The old gaol, old railway station, which houses an information centre. If access to a vehicle or local tour, (google Greenough) 25 kms 20 mins south of port is well worth a visit. Its an historical town which has been restored to its 19th century lifestyle. The trees that bend right to the ground due to the winds. Geraldton, known as "windy city Geraldton"

  5. Thanks but I do know that it has been available whilst down here this summer and I am hoping it will remain for our Transpacific in a few weeks. I was just wondering if anyone has been on her in the last week or two.

    Cheers

    Hi,

I have just returned from their last cruise Fremantle - Sydney via NZ 14th March.

It was my first cruise and exceeded all my expectations.

    Rita's Crabshack was on-board. I didn't go there so I can't review.

We were advised that RoS was having some refurbishments whilst maintenance being done in April 2016, so whether it will still be there I don't know.
