  1. I have been to Serenity Bay a couple of times and there are a lot of chairs and umbrellas for shade available - you should have no problem finding one. There is a bar area but didn't observe how shady it was, but there is ample shade at the barbecue area where you eat lunch. Lots of umbrellas on the family beaches too.
  2. This!^ I live in central Fla and live 2 hours from Port Canaveral, 1 hour 45 mins from Tampa and 3 hours from Miami. So fortunate to be able to take quick 3-night cruises over a long weekend - although it's still too short! LOL
  3. I prefer more ports so we can experience more of the countries that we sail to. We like to check out new places or take different excursions than we have in the past at a port we've visited frequently (like Nassau).
  4. We are also booked on a Baltic cruise on the Escape travelling in June 2020 - can't wait!
  5. Sailing on NCL for the first time next year so lurking on these boards. That's amazing that NCL has coffee makers in the cabins - Disney does not offer them in the cabins at any level at all, and their cruises are way more expensive...
  6. Oh I can totally sympathize with you, our daughter turns 18 in 18 months and we can't wait for her to be able to join us in Palo for brunch and also go to Serenity Bay
  7. 7 DCL cruises so far, and 2 of them have been with adults only. We really enjoyed some of the adults-only areas, including the pool area, Cove Cafe (for specialty coffees, cocktails etc), nightclub area (Skyline Lounge on the Dream is my favorite) and Palo brunch! Also, Serenity Bay is quiet and relaxing. DCL is definitely not just for kids!
