  1. First post :). I'm not an accessible guest but it was the last room available in the category so I'm in an inside accessible cabin M category. It is Very spacious especially for just 1 person

Ooops sorry. Thanks for answering my question anyway. :) I'm watching the Buckeyes running all over my Huskers and can't focus on what I'm reading. :(

  2. Have an awesome cruise! Adventure is up next for us next May, so I'm starting my obsession with the ship now. I know she has a dry dock before we get on, but I still want and need to know everything I can before my busy season at work starts up in February and I can't cruise obsess for three months.

If possible, can you sneak a peak to the Club 18-20 schedule? My kids are coming with us in May, and they will be 18 & 20. Too old for the kids programs but too young to drink so they are a bit unsure about joining us on the sailing as they are afraid they will be bored. While they will enjoy the shows and music in the evenings, during the day they are afraid they will be a bit bored. Voom for both may be required as they can only sit by the pool so much each day. On our recent Harmony sailing we noticed Club 18-20 activities posted in the Cruise Planner some evenings, so I'm curious if there are full schedules out there. Going to go visit the roll calls for this sailing and next week, to see if anyone there can bring back a schedule for me, but wanted to ask here too.

    Thanks in advance!!

  3. For us that varies cruise by cruise. It depends on if there are two or four of us in the cabin. More time when there are four than two, just to have the extra space when we're all getting ready for dinner. Another factor is the number of days at sea versus days in port. We spend more time out there when in port. Another factor is starboard vs port sides, and where the sunrise/sunset is in relation to our balcony. Some days we can't even open the drapes as the sun is blaring in through the balcony doors.

We always go out when we wake in the morning, to get a breath of fresh air. My husband goes out every evening before retiring for the night. Amount of time spent depends on where we need to be in the morning and how hot it is. IN the evenings, I head to sleep and my husband comes in whenever. LOL

We rarely sit out and have meals, it's usually too hot for us.

  4. No, we were on the second voyage May26th 2016 then June and then September and no tasting menu as the unusual menu was given to Wonderland which was new and was located where the DL was on Allure.

We had thought about eating at Wonderland when we were on Quantum in 2015 but it was a little too unusual for our teen boys to enjoy at the time. We enjoyed visiting when we sailed without them a couple weeks ago. I think maybe they'd be interested in trying it now. It was fun to allow the waiter to choose what he brought us instead of just choosing one element to order from.

  5. It's close, but about 6 months out of date as it shows Legend still being in the fleet.

Well, it does say 2016-2017 on the top. Guessing it was put together the end of 2015. I haven't been able to locate a 2017-2018, so maybe the next one out will be 2018-2019. But I haven't been able to locate anything better, so it's works for now.

  6. On our 9/16 sailing they did offer coffee pots anyone could rent for the sailing. They are the single-use type, made by Illy. You purchase a package of capsules. 14 capsules for $39, 21 for $56, 28 for $69, or 35 for $79.

Like Bob said, Junior Suites and up are given them in the rooms. But anyone can rent them fro Cafe Promenade on Deck 5.

  7. Our two cents; got off Harmony Sept 23rd. We did 4 night package.

Ate at 150 first night; amazing. Watch you don't get filled on the bread & salts. I couldn't finish my meat or touch my dessert. We ordered the beef for 2. Delicious. Took dessert to go.

Night 2: Jamie's Italian. We ate there on Quantum in 2015 and loved it. Enjoyed it on Harmony, but better on Quantum. If you live in an area with good Italian, you can skip this. Limoncello was nice and smooth.

Night 3: Solarium Bistro. Free specialty dining for those who have My Time Dining. Buffet for appetizers, side dishes and desserts, waiter brings your entree. Ate there on Quantum as well; not the same. Not the "healthy" restaurant it is on Quantum.

    Night 4: Main Dining Room

    Night 5: Main Dining Room

Night 6: Had reservations at Chops; heard mixed opinions from others in our group who had eaten there prior in the week, so switched to 150 CP. Well worth it. I'm from Nebraska and I know a good steak. Wasn't taking chance on Chops. 150 CP did not disappoint the second night, ordered same beef for 2. Hubby ordered every item prepared tableside for this meal, appetizer, entree and dessert. We also loved their signature martini ($15) but worth every penny. We had two this visit. Also made tableside. If you have drink package, you are charged the extra $2 per drink. And gratuity, of course.

Night 7: Wonderland. Fun experience, something to try once. Not sure I'd do it again unless I'm with people who haven't done it before. Let the waiter choose what you get instead of odering off the menu. Portions are small, but they will bring you a lot if you let them or ask for it. Table of 2 next to us got three entrees.

Izumi is on our list of restaurants to try. Many in our group loved Sabor, was told it's better for lunch than dinner, based on the cost.

Would not do the Ultimate Dining Package; many in our group had it and they said it was way too much food. Next 7 night cruise, we'll most likely do 3 night package instead of 4. We have a 12 night cruise coming up in 2018, not sure about that one. Smaller ship with less options.

  8. Hi everyone! We are looking at booking Adventure for 2018 and I have a question. I'm guessing because of the upgrades in recent years, along with those that had to be put on hold and finished later (and still to be finished) I'm reading a lot of conflicting information about the ship. Visiting various sites I'm finding different deck plans, some showing the room we are booking as oceanview and others as a balcony. The deck plan here on CC doesn't even show the rooms at all so it is outdated.

We want to book what is called a panoramic ocean view on deck 12. My question is this: does the jogging track pass in front of these windows? It is alllll the way forward. The photos on RCCL's site does not look like it, but watching some videos on youtube makes it look like the jogging track does.

I know this question is targeted at a very specific audience (ie those who actually use the jogging track in some manner LOL) who actually needs to turn around and look while they are on the track.

  9. Someone either on here or on FB reported that RCL told them that you don't need to do anything. If you show up they will know you are there and if you don't you will receive the FCC. Don't remember where I saw it

It's not that difficult for RCCL to just post that, now is it? So instead, I should call the number Bob posted and sit on hold for 2.5 hours, like someone else reported they did.

  10.

Yes, Bob, I see that. What I don't see is something that tells me "if you are still coming, click here. If you are choosing not to sail with us, please call X number." My Cruises should have a message under My Messages. What's the point of that tab if they are only going to use it to sell us stuff.

  11. There are many ports that can handle Oasis class ships. Those ports may not be the most efficient for handling 6000 passengers, but in an emergency they have options. For example, in Barcelona they use two adjacent terminals for one Oasis ship.

Good to know that is an option; I know Tampa has a bridge that Oasis can't go under; is there similar obstacles in the other gulf ports?

  12. If you don't already follow James on Twitter and you have a cruise coming up next week now is the time to do so. LOL I'm scheduled for Oasis this Saturday 9/10, and am flying down to MCO 9/9. James tweeted today that a formal announcement will be made Wednesday for the weekend sailings.
