-Formal night? How formal really is it? I see every ship as different. Can my daughter wear dressy flip flops?
-Expedited Dinner – Is there a fast track dinner when you have kids? They have this on RC and I was curious if something similar here?
-Anyone have an allergy experience? Curious the amount of items that are limited. Some cruises will not allow someone to eat anything that was pre-made off ship.

thanks for your feedback. Myself and daughter went on the Oasis last year and I was slightly worried about adapting to the difference between the 2 ships.
The Oasis boat was beautiful and service was fantastic except for a few people at the pizza station. I'm hoping this boat offers a lot of kid activities that will win the heart of my daughter.
We are sailing in April this year.. :) How satisfied were you with the amount of food for kids? Silly question but any idea where if other than the MDR serves pancakes for breakfast.. she is a non-egg eater.

Would you recommend the pro excursion tour that goes to Saona with a 7 year old? I'm always worried it will be too much for someone smaller. Thoughts?

I see the following notation on the Carnival site..
Bringing wine or Champagne onboard: During embarkation only, each passenger may bring one bottle of wine or Champagne (750ml) onboard in their carry-on luggage.
Here is my question- It's just me and my daughter. Am I allowed 1 or 2 bottles of wine?

I'm travelling with a 7 yr old and looking for the best option for us. She isn't experienced enough to snorkel....
I see there is an aquarium and wondering if this any different than most aquariums in the states.

Do any of the carnival ships have the freestyle soda machines? I have done a bunch of searches but everything is very vague.

So sadly I have a food allergy and I'm wondering if anyone has traveled on the Breeze with a peanut allergy.
Last year, I went onto Oasis of the Seas and my food options were extremely limited. I wasn't allowed to eat at any buffet and most of the sandwich type shops. Additionally, the MDR menu would be cut by 2/3 because anything brought onto the boat pre-made was refused to me.
Any help/insight would be great!!

I love baby beach. It is very calm. Just remember it gets very hot and you will want to find shade for them.

Looking for ideas for a Kid friendly excursion. My daughter is 7 so looking for something fun and not heavy with 'education'.

Soda Machine.. Do they have a freestyle soda machine? It's a big deciding factor for buying it for my daughter.
-
thanks. that is good to know. How booked do the activities get? Do I need to show up 30 minutes early?
-
I'm a first timer with Carnival so my questions come from being a RC traveler.
Can you book or reserve activities (onboard) ahead of time on the cruise? I know most shows fill up and RC has a great way to control the activities by pre-register.
Thanks for the info

I have the same issue.. :( Sorry

I have heard that the roast beef sandwich @ Park Cafe is must try..
Is there anything else that I shouldn't miss eating wise?

Thanks so much for the review. It is great to read something from the perspective of a single mom with kids onboard.
I'm taking my daughter alone in a few weeks.
-
Maybe I should just call RC and find out. :(

Can anyone confirm information on the select package(just beer and wine)?
I have seen a few posts that say wine must be under 8 dollars a glass and others that say wine must be under 12 dollars a glass.
Anyone have insight into this? Based on looking at the menus I have seen online, it looks like 8 dollars and under is just house wines.
Sorry for another Drink package question..

:D Great recommendations on the food.
Just wondering if you could share some more info on what you did for breakfast and lunches. Any recommendations on where to go?

Thanks so much for this review. I'm going with my 6 yr old daughter solo in April. Overall did you find the kids area nice and welcoming. I'm concerned my daughter will be nervous to go there and not have me stay.
I'm a bit nervous about the lack of adult conversation but I'm hoping people will be friendly enough to chat with a random person.
-
I also got a notification this afternoon changing my show 7:30 to 10:30.. I don't think my 6 yr old can stay up that late.
-
Thanks.. I appreciate the quick responses!

If you are doing the expedited Family Dining Program on-board. Do you still have the formal dining attire requirements those 2 days?
Thanks all :)

Do they play kid's movies throughout the day on the Breeze? Hoping yes, just for decompressing time at the end of a long day.
