  1. Nice review. Thanks for sharing.
  2. I certainly will. Thanks for the tip
  3. I did notice that May Chan for the most part gets rave reviews. So if we do do a beach day it will come down to them or Tropicante based on what I have been reading.
  4. Thanks for the input guys. So in essence my choices are, hang out at the port area, Beach Day, or Mayan Ruins. .
  5. This will be our first time in Costa Maya and I have been doing some research and have been trying to figure out what to do. Since this is our first visit we don't want to necessarily do any of the AI beach days. We would like to see a bit of the island but are not sure if we want to commit to a lengthy excursion. I have been trying to get an answer to if Costa Maya conducive to just winging it and doing your own thing outside the port area? I have not been able to discern this from reading the threads. Can anyone answer this for me. Thanks in advance.
  6. Thanks beerman Sent from my SM-J415G using Tapatalk
  7. Hope persons are still followng this thread. Can anyone tell me if you have to make resevations before had for the shows, Burn the Floor and Howl at the Moon. I have been reading nothing but good things on these two shows and am really looking forward to seeing them.
  8. This is true. My recomendation was based on if you were flying in but to get in/out of port to the ship the ID would not be a problem
  9. I remember meeting Bob on my Valor cruise. He was part of that great group and roll call I mentioned. You probably dont remember Bob but you gave me some sage advice re: married life that I still remeber up to this day๐Ÿ‘. Sorry for the hijack OP.
  10. I would recommend you get a passport.
  11. Thanks for all your help and ideas guys.๐Ÿ‘ I am sure I will be back to ask some more questions sooner rather than later.๐Ÿ˜€
  12. Thanks Ten...this is great info.. It will just be DW and I this trip and we want it to be as laid back as possible. We will mostly be playing it by ear. We really want to do Teppenyaki for sure. Would you recommend reservations for this ahead of time?
  13. Hi Everyone...hope someone ses this and responds as I did not want to start a new thread just to ask this question..so here goes... Can anyone tell me if you have to book Specialty Dining prior to boarding or can you do it when you get on the ship? Do you have to book the shows as well or do you just walk in? Thanks again
