We'll be cruising to Hawaii from LAX next February during the 2018 Winter Olympics.
(1) Does anyone know what TV channels are on the Star Princess, and (2) if we'd be able to watch the Olympics in our cabin?
Thanks for any info!

Has anyone stayed in either of these cabins recently? Could you please tell me if the outside wall of the balcony is plexi-glass or metal? If it is metal, does it obstruct the outside view much when you're sitting in your cabin?
Thanks!

If you arrive at the port in Fort Lauderdale (before the doors are opened to begin checking in), is there any protection from rain while you're standing in line outside?
Thanks!

This excursion has a choice of either 11:00 a.m. or 2:30 p.m. departure time from the ship. Is there an advantage of one time over the other as far as being able to see glacier calving, and is it noticeably warmer in the afternoon during mid-July as opposed to the morning?
Also, where is the cruise ship in relation to the small boat excursion during the 11 a.m. sailing as opposed to the 2:30 p.m. sailing? Do both excursions spend the same amount of time at the glacier?
Thanks!!

We are on the Carnival Legend this July, and were wondering if there are any restrooms on board the small excursion boat (Tracy Arm Fjord and Glacier Explorer) that an 80+ year old could handle okay. Also, after reading that it can get quite cold on this excursion, is the inside of this boat heated at all?
Thanks for any info!

Does anyone know of any hotels in the downtown Seattle area with connecting rooms?
Thank you!

After hearing how slow the internet is, I was just wondering if there is a better time during the day/night to use it, or is it always slow no matter what time of day? (We'll be sailing on the Breeze).
Thanks!

$1.99 sounds great.
Just called Verizon to find out what to do with my cell phone and am somewhat (majorly) confused.......
Turn on airplane mode, turn off cellular, turn on roaming??? Anyone know if this is right? Thanks!

Which would be the least expensive way to call home when on the Carnival Breeze Ship --- Ship Phone or Verizon?
Thank you for any other information regarding phone service, what plan etc!

So if you are doing self-assist, and leave the ship whenever you want to, where do you wait with all your luggage?
-
I've also been wondering what to do as we have a 3:00 p.m. flight. After hearing how long the lines at the airport can be on a Sunday morning...... Would it be a problem to do self-assist off the ship and be one of the last ones to leave?

Mike,
On your very last day on the Breeze, how long did you stay on the Lido Deck before you left the ship (self-disembarkation)? Since our flight doesn't leave MIA until 3:30 p.m., I was just wondering if it's a problem if you leave whenever you want to leave, or do you have to leave when they call for self-disembarkation?
Thanks!

Thanks for the video info.
Our cruise is in March 2014 :D

We were wondering the same thing but decided to just go ahead and book 7233 (the first suite closest to the front of the ship).
Where is the video review of 7377? (I tried the search feature but couldn't find it). Thanks!

Wonderful review!!!
Would you happen to know where the self-disembarking passengers START to line up or the best place to be so that you can be one of the first (self-disembarking) passengers off the ship? Any idea as to what time the line would start forming in the morning?
Thanks! -
Do you know if you are able to reserve the shuttle that takes you to the port at the same time you book the hotel (Springfiled Suites), or do you have to wait until you check in? How early does the shuttle start in the morning?
Thanks!

Are you allowed to put soda in your luggage that the porters take to load on the ship, or do you have to carry it all on yourself?
