I received a upgrade call, wanted me to upgrade from a balcony to a suite for only $600. Laughed and asked them why would I pay when I'm traveling solo and that the room was obviously empty. This was for the Panorama September 11th  sailing,

With sid on this. Scheduled for Mardi Gras on Oct 16. And Carnival Panorama September 11. 

Panorama is now broken and can not make top speed. Flights out are going to be missed. Luckily for me it's only an only 80 mile drive to the port.

Fingers crossed I should be able to get my C test done.

The French Fire is burning to the west of us and the valley has been filled with smoke. Just when I was starting to enjoy the pool, too. I hate fire season. It's so devastating. 

Spent the week in Mammoth. Only 2 of the days were half clear. We could hardly see the mountains as we drove south past the turn off to Ridgecrest from 395 today.

Feels like I smoked 3 cartoons this week and I don't smoke. Too many other habits.

Loss of walking area due to Havana.

Cloud nine spa is a joke compared to Dream class ships.

No separate pool and jacuzzi  tubes for adults  like spirt and conquest class ships

I'm not sure why the CSO would be tied to the Alaska cruises. I thought the main issue was Canada not allowing any cruise ships into their waters, which shouldn't have anything to do with the CDC.

I have once. But I spent one night in port in between. To worried about issues with missing the 2nd cruise if the 1st cruise was late getting into port for a same day transfer.

Cost for cruises out of Long Beach are always higher on those weeks.

Sid unfortunately I don't think the B2B cruise had a chance.

One of the new rules by the CDC is no cruises longer then 7 days is allowed.

Cruise lines are already changing there 8 day or longer cruises.

They are also supposed to stop anyone from doing a back to back.

I was also going on the Mardi gras at the end of November. 

I have now booked an all inclusive in Cancun for 7 nights starting November 27. Ended up being cheaper then the Spa balcony on the Mardi gras. Changed plane tickets to Cancun instead of Orlando and still got some credit back.

Sorry my bad, hearing that name always made me think of the general. Never heard about this Normal. Still sad news.

Just reporting back.

We used platinum self disembark on Saturday January 18th. 

Even with a slight delay we had cleared customs and we're in the car waiting area by 8:05am.

I am Going on January 11. I Will try to report back for the Platinum Self assist disembark with the actual time I'm clear of the terminal.

The top menu bar I choose manage, then make payment. Which took me to a screen for my booking number and last name. I was able to pay from there.

I Don't need to make a payment at the moment but I would like to get the second passengers name an info in as soon as possible.

I finally was able to do that on Edge. 

Just curious in case I need to try that next time. How were you able to enter the booking numbers without being able to log in?

Just wondering IF the Parking for Long Beach on Saturdays has been smoothed out.

My last 3 cruises from Long Beach we had issues.

Once no one was allowed to park due to the parking being booked for an event at the queen Mary.

The other two no one was allowed to park until after 11:00am. The Early arrivals were sent to down town long beach off of 6th St. I believe. At least shuttles were provided.

I am leaving on the Panorama on January 11. We usually  show up at the parking structure at  around 9:30 to 10:00.

Thank you all for the replies. That will keep me from panicking. Nothing I hate more then to not be able to check on my bookings any time I want.

Just wondering if anyone else is having trouble logging into their Carnival accounts tonight?

Have tried both Microsoft Edge and Chrome with 2 different accounts with no luck so far.

If your cloths can hold up to Hot water and super high heat for the drying cycle then yes. For $15.00 its hard to beat.

I always get back two bags for the one I sent out.
