  1. That's what I meant. No issues with frozen products, but fruit, veggies and fresh seafood will be an issue.
  2. 10 days? I would wonder about the condition/quality of the food after so many days at sea. And heaven forbid they run out of liquor!
  3. Is that a public area above those new cabins? If so, it appears that those ultimate panoramic suites don't have much privacy.
  4. So, will these observation areas have chairs or loungers? Or just be areas for "observing"?
  5. Have tried one travel agent site. Nothing showing. Will try to call Royal next. Never used a travel agent. Always booked directly through the cruise line. This time we need to.
  6. Still trying to convince DW that we should book this cabin. She's concerned about the lack of privacy. Another curious thing is that 1720 is currently available all summer '20, while other suites (royal loft, owners panoramic, and grand panoramic ) are not. Strange. Is RCL holding back on the others???
  7. Our DD has numerous food allergies. I would recommend NOT eating in a buffet. Although the food may be safe, cross contamination can be an issue. Eat in the MDR. Plan to eat at the same time every day. Prepare a menu for the next meal or two and discuss it with the head waiter. The head waiter should also be able to send the meal to a specialty restaurant, should you decide to eat elsewhere.
  8. Thanks, all, for your comments. Sort of what I figured. DD has been on cruises (RCL and X) where there were a minimal amount of people her age, and she survived. She actually liked it, because of the extra attention she received.
  9. I have a question for you. We stayed in a loft suite on the Anthem. That suite faced the stern, so there was a beautiful view and plenty of privacy. Did you feel any lack of privacy in 1720? Was there noticeable noise from the public areas below?
  10. I understand about regent not having the slides and activities like X, NCL, and RCL. We just are concerned there will be no other children our DD'S age on the ship. She doesn't require much, but being the only kid on the ship may be a bit much for the week. We have been cruising in the upper suites on X and RCL, and are looking to try the next step up in luxury cruising. Thinking regent might be right for us.
  11. Would you know if there are organized children's programs like there are on Celebrity (and RCL)?
  12. I too, hate when people dredge up an old thread, but I need to settle a bet with my wife. Are there presidential suites on the Oasis? I say they were reconfigured (eliminated) years ago, but a web search still has them showing available only through a travel agent. Can someone give enlighten me? Also, there was mention of a "royal" suite. I believe there only remains a royal loft suite. Thanks for any info.
  13. As others said, Coastal Kitchen. However, for Service and food quality, I'd give the edge to Luminae
