We had the “earliest” boarding time of 11:30 am at Rotterdam on July 31st. We got there just after that and there was a long line already for luggage and no one seemed to be looking at check in time. 🤷‍♀️ So I can’t tell you when they opened the doors.Try to find a porter to hand off your already tagged luggage.

If you have an early reservation, you should be fine. We had an 8 pm reservation and the flair/chandelier kicked off at 8:25 pm.

Spoke to Saori this morning at the Captain’s Club desk. Very nice. We did’t think we were too early yesterday, but evidently we were? She said they did have and do have Elite Breakfast every day. Not sure who the gentleman was who sent us away is but he was incorrect. So, to correct, clarify, and not cause a panic: Elite Breakfast is every day.

I will be doing that. I know on the Summit in October it was every day. Today there was no one there eating or serving, no food, no coffee.

We went to the Captain’s Club Coffee Lounge for breakfast and was told it’s only on sea days. So we ended up at Cafe Al Bacio. Our welcome note says daily. Is this a new change? We’ll have to find out.

We are in Cosmopolitan tonight. I’ll take a photo of the Chic Night menu. Forgot to take one last night in Tuscan. We’re currently unable to view menus on the X app or on the TV. 🤷‍♀️

We were very fortunate. Our taxi driver pulled up just past that horribly long line and a young man with a hand cart and porter vest offered to take our luggage and pointed us to the door. We gave him a bit of a tip and were onboard in less than 10 minutes. Fastest boarding ever for us “regular folk”.

We’ll be joining you onboard. We’ve been in Amsterdam since Wednesday morning, a direct flight with KLM from Los Angeles.

You got me off the hook, too. We will be sailing with you and staying onboard for the Iceland cruise. We are flying in to Amsterdam early since we’ve never been there.

How disappointing! 😞 I think there are a few of us booked with them for upcoming cruises. 😞

I received an email late on July 8th letting me know that due to recent changes in my 8/9/23 Apex cruise, I owed $70+ and that (something) would be canceled if I didn’t pay by 7/11. Not sure what they were going to cancel since the link went to my main cruise reservation page. Problem is that that no changes had been made, cruise had been fully paid a while ago, the last restaurant reservation had been made in March. Strangely, the same thing happened a couple of months ago for our 7/31 cruise for over $200. I called our big box TA who then called Celebrity. It sounds like some of our OBC fell off? (Why only some and not all? 🤷‍♀️) All I know is that I’ll be bringing copies of my paperwork and my emails.

Happy birthday cruise! We were on the Summit in October 2022 out of Boston and loved it. As a retired educator (40 years), I have to agree with with Azulann. While all teachers are heroes in my book, Special Ed teachers are extra special.
