  1. Never ever take a 3 or 4 day cruise in any line because the cheaper price draws more undesirable people and their behaviors
  2. You stay in Long Beach. I've done that one on the Panorama. Great little city to spend a couple days pre -cruise. Hyatt Centric Long Beach. It's a nice cruise itinerary.
  3. ??? Huh? You may be the only one that thinks that. It's awful and all they did is replace Jimmy Buffet pay restaurant that nobody used with a worse pay restaurant that nobody uses. Its a bigger waste of space then ping pong tables which I would use.
  4. I had it on the Bliss Panama Canal for 15 days and it was amazing and relaxing. Great money spent with amazing views off the aft of the ship for the heated loungers. There are no special days just buy it pre cruise.
  5. Your carnival user name and password should work. Did you try to sign up again to see if your account takes that way?
  6. I don't know, maybe your neighbor? Your co-worker? Your Uber driver? The original poster started this thread about high pricing, not me. I just tend to agree with a lot of others and with the amount of likes I received on some of my prior posts many agree with my thoughts . Anyhow ..... Moving on to other things .......
  7. You don't....... you do exactly what you did and got it right.
  8. Are you asking or telling people that ? What point are you trying to make? Kind if like Rome and Civitavecchia
  9. Now you're talking...... The money saved for us four will help with airfare and some great tours as well. Good plan and you'll feel like you got a deal which makes the cruise that much better. I don't want to feel like I'm getting taken $$$ even before I take my cruise.
  10. I guess you really don't understand or have cruised enough on multiple lines or cruising long enough period to know that some cruises that are more destination cruises like Alaska and Europe don't require the fanciest and newest ships to make it a great cruise. When you spend a lot of time off the ship or have few sea days there is less of a point to spend more in order to see the same things. If you are jusr cruising for the ship itself that may be different. There is nothing about NCL that justifies it to be double or slightly more now than the other lines when they have not improved anything. I still like NCL and our last trip on the 15 day full Panama Canal trip on the Bliss a couple years ago was wonderful .....at $5900. Not the $10,000 they want now. It's not justifying why the other lines are cheaper when the real question is why anyone would think NCL is worth double the cost..... it's not and foolish to think it is. I've done Princess, Holland, MSC, NCL, Royal, Carnival.....multiple times and NCL is just a notch above Carnival. Still not seeing anyone listing any "deals" on NCL.
  11. What does this have to do with Celebrity Cruise Line? Ask in the cruise air and airlines forum.
  12. Carnival Pride August 2023 out of Londen (Dover). It wouldn't be my first choice of lines and ships but pricing is great when taking two teenagers as well and it being a destination cruise where the ship isn't as important as where we are going.
  13. The OP referenced some cruise lines and I was referencing the Cheers Package on Carnival . I should have mentioned Carnival as the "other line"
  14. Meh, every cruise line offers discounted pricing during off peak season during the months you mention. I guess it comes down to what the individual feels is a good deal and what worth they get out of what their paying. I have cruises booked with Celebrity, MSC, Carnival, and NCL but will most likely be canceling my NCL Candada New England cruise . Booked 12 days to Europe (Iceland, Scotland, Ireland) next August on Carnival for four in an extended balcony for $3500. A similar 11 day comparable on NCL to the same area and balcony is $10,000. Booked the brand new to come Carnival Jubilee for August 2024 four people in extended balcony for $1700. The cheapest 7 day on the old NCL breakaway same week 2024 comparable is $5000 today. My Alaska cruise I took two weeks ago was twice as much on NCL. I don't see how anyone is getting any sort of deal at all looking forward when the pricing gap is that astronomical. I would love to hear or see some deals people are getting on NCL right now just to see and compare.
  15. The real truth is NCL went from one of the best values in crusing to one of the worst values in just a short amount of time ....it's simple as that. They raised prices significantly and their CEO has come out publicly and more or less stated that they are going to squeeze every last dime out of you and won't take the approach other lines have taken where they have discounted theirs. The cruises I just took and also have booked are at rates half of what NCL wants for a comparable apples to apples cruise. I suggest you look at other lines as I have dumped NCL for now.
  16. There has been lots of discussion or theories why certain people get better offers than others when they have sailed Carnival fewer times. To this day there is no clear answer but Carnival seems to use better offers to lure new or new cruisers back while many they already have in their grasp don't get the great offers. I sail many lines and just got back last week from an Alaska cruise where I was offered a VIFP players club elite offer....... when I don't even gamble and had only sailed Carnival three times prior to this one. It could also be Carnival targeting people who spend a lot on board with shopping, specialty dining, drink packages, ship excursions, etc and not those who don't spend a dime once on board,
  17. That what happens when you hyphenate a long name... 🙄 Just use the paperwork as the App is not worth the trouble nor needed.
  18. I didn't use that App two weeks ago and wouldn't.... Took 20 seconds to show my printed paperwork before boarding .
