What and when was the last Carnival cruise you took?
bartzcrew replied to mek's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
We had intentionally booked the short one to get us through to the one we have in Sept! But I agree. That cruise was so nice and not crowded! -

how is OBC handled in a room with 2, on separate credit cards
bartzcrew replied to bartzcrew's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
This is what happened to us, they split the OBC equally. Wouldn't let us adjust it saying once on ship they cant change what corporate did. Was very frustrating. I also tried GS at 2 different times as well, diff people same answer. -
We are book on the Panorama for the 16th, and have no plans to cancel. I do like that we have till 30 days prior to do so though, per that email. Only reason we would have to move it, is if my now senior who should graduate May 21 and deploys to boot camp June 8, gets grad delayed and therefore deployment delayed. We already had to move this cruise once from Aug 22, as we would have missed his bootcamp graduation!

March 7th, 2020 Carnival Panorama Delayed Embarkation
bartzcrew replied to InspireLiberty's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
I sail on Imagination tomorrow. We just got text and email about delayed embarkation. We aren't to head to port till we hear from carnival. -

Thanks, thats what I needed to know! Appreciate it 🙂 -
General question, if a room has 2 people, and they each have their accounts set up on different cards, how does OBC get applied. Not counting what we go from Carnival to stay on our sailing, the room already had 64 in OBC, that is meant for my daughter. I was just wondering if I had to go to guest services to make sure it applies to her, not the other passenger. Thanks

Carnival Modifies Cancellation Policy
bartzcrew replied to CCLcruiser91's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
3 cabins booked for a cruise that leaves Sunday, I will gladly take an extra $300 OBC across all rooms! Thank you Carnival! -
Not sure about the enforcement, but the Carnival site says "Not permitted in the dining room during the Cruise Casual dinner for ladies and gentlemen: shorts, gym shorts, basketball shorts, beach flip-flops, bathing suit attire, cut-off jeans, sleeveless shirts for men and baseball hats." From this link I have an 18 year old who lives in them too, and I told him he has to wear his one pair of khaki shorts just for dinner.

We just did that Sunday for 2 rooms, and 1 room on Monday.
-
Our cruise in 11 days, dropped so much, we got upgraded from an interior to ocean view(back of ship as well), and about 50 each in OBC for all 3 rooms!

Its also my understanding, from past experience, that those cans have to be 12 oz or under, so most energy drinks arent allowed. From Carnivals site "A small quantity is considered a maximum of 12 sealed, unopened cans/cartons of 12 ounces each or less, per person." That is from this page.
