I am sailing on August 7. I have family of 5, across 3 cabins. I have them all linked. When I went to check in, all three cabins were there for me to click on, and check in at the same time. No worries. Just link the reservations before check in through your travel agent or Royal, and you should be good to go.

I’m not really part of the look at me crowd at 58. But my family of 5 adults, who had their trip canceled back in 2020 and who live in different parts of NY, and wanting to make the most of this once in a lifetime trip together, I think it is perfect. I was able to snag it when it was on sale. We will need to be off the ship quickly in tendered ports to meet up with our private tours. So especially Santorini it is imperative. All the rest of the perks are frosting on the cake.

Coffee Machine in Diamond lounge has not been working on our last two sailings. When it does, it is good. We buy the Refreshment package, because I like to get my Mocha from the cafe. The servers are great and very friendly! I also like the refreshment package for the mock drinks and bottled water (which we stockpile for tours off the ship!) I despise Starbucks coffee. It just tastes Burnt to me. I don't drink iced coffee.

My check in was at 6PM because of the time difference from where the ship is located vs where I am located. So, NY vs Italy.

Took about five days. For some reason they were in Arizona for 2 days. Just got them, and they expire next May.

When I went to create an account, I was not given any way of adding family members. And when I searched their website, I got this information saying that each person who tests on eMed is required to create an eMed account. Which is doable, but annoying. Gentleman onboard the Odyssey at the moment booked the KEY in April. So not sure if that would grandfathered in or not. Only time will tell.

You don’t need to use Royal to get there. Beautiful museum! Loved it.

So odd, because a gentleman on the Odyssey of the Seas right now (in a facebook group) said that he was able to get that perk. I will also be on the Odyssey in August. I wonder if he purchased the KEY a long time ago as well and was grandfathered in. I will have to search for his post and ask him. Thank you.

Two ports with tendering. And we have private tours (not Royal) at each, and need to be off right away. So that is the main reason we are going with it. I have never needed the Key before that. I get 4 drinks for my loyalty with Royal, so the wifi/drink package doesn't really work either. I guess I was hoping to get more info from people who have used the KEY this year and what they were able to do with it. Someone online said that they got free room service which is another perk. They are currently on the ship right now, so hoping that sticks around too.

Have booked THE KEY for upcoming Italy/Greece Odyssey of the Seas in August. Mostly for the tendering perk, and wifi. Got a good price. But would love to know more specifics. What everyone was able to accomplish with it. How was the lunch for embarkation. Seating at shows, shorter wait times, etc. Thanks in advance!

Only if I have the drink package, as I can't use Diamond vouchers there. On a side note, I did order a Cosmo and it is much larger than you get at a regular bar. Probably won't every use it again.

We are a family of 5 adults, and we are not using any Royal excursions and have booked our own Private/Semi Private tours through Viator. Trying to lessen the amount of people we spend a lot of time with in close proximity.

Are you a Crown and Anchor Member? I always just call them, because we are Diamond, I never drink more that the 4 drinks I get for free. But my husband does, so I always call them, and husband gets the Drink package and I get the Refreshment package. Easy peasy. Not doctor note needed. Travel agent really needs to play catch up on this. I have been doing it for years. And did so on our last cruise in October 2021,

You would need to call the airline and Request seat assignments, and depending on the airline, pay for them. A few years ago, we were not able to book seats online even though I could see our reservation. I am in the same situation and plan on calling this week to get seat assignments for our ITA flights from JFK to FCO

My kids are above the narrow part, my cabin is actually above a wide section just a forward of them on the other side of the hump. Large balcony cabin. It appears someone on the cruise may have a similar view, possibly deck six or seven. of course, when I booked, I thought our room was over the water and not an open area. When I see photos, it doesn’t appear to have anyone on the deck. Hopefully it isn’t used much. Ugh

You didn't happen to notice if there are smoking sections on deck 5 did you. Would hate for our balconies to be above a smoking section
