  1. It is their rate for NCL, cheaper than on NCL's site when I compare.
  2. Recent invoice from our TA has a new format and now includes a line for Rate Code, "FLEXNET". Seems strange NCL has approved all our stockholder OBC requests if this is the way they come across. TA confirms no change. Obviously NCL IT just ran something and removed all stockholder OBC if this was the rate code, regardless of being approved in April. Will still take the ~$400 overall savings from my TA over the 100 stockholder OBC if I have to choose 😄. Going to take the paper amenity invoices with us on our Feb and May 2024 cruises and see if they honor when we board.
  3. We leave on the Bliss Oct 31st. Just went in to print our edocs showing our stock credit and it was gone. It was not showing in the NCL app either and had previously. Our amenity invoice from NCL for this cruise was received this past March. I checked 2 other cruises where we had received our stock credit and they were gone too. Those amenity invoices for Feb 2024 and May 2024 were received in June of 2022, so not recent requests. Just got off the phone with NCL and she stated it was an issue with the TA using the "flex net" code on our reservations. We've used the same TA for all our cruises and have never had an issue getting our credit. I asked if this was a recent NCL change and she said she hadn't heard of any changes, and this was the first call she's received about the issue. She talked to the help desk since we are only 10 days out and they were able to credit our account. I was told since the others are not until next year, I need to contact our TA and have them fix their code. When I asked the rep if the TA would know what needed to be done to correct the issue she said "yes, they'll know" so we'll see. At least we got our credit for our Oct 31st cruise. Check your accounts if you previously submitted, and received, stock credits!
  4. We have it booked for our 2/25/24 Viva sailing and cannot wait! One of the most beautiful beaches we've ever been to!
  5. Great idea @hawkeyetlse! I typically book with a TA (much cheaper price) after doing my own research so didn't think of that. It gave me exactly what I needed. Thanks for the suggestion, much appreciated!
  6. Yes. Once added, it automatically lists your contacts who already have the app or you can invite someone to use it. This was our 2nd time using it, very easy.
  7. I've tried to find these "qualifying Jewel sailings" but every sailing and every cabin category all say one extra point per night when hovering over the Past Guest Offer icon. Did an online chat to see if they could help and the rep told me it only qualified for suites, which I know is not the case. Then she said it was because I selected a Sail Away category, again not the case. Of course, that turned into let me call you so I can find you the correct sailing. NCL IT needs to step up their game, so frustrating.
  8. We just returned from a Panama Canal sailing on the Jewel. Kept our phones on airplane mode, used our free wifi minutes with WhatsApp to text and make calls and had no issues at all.
  9. My boys cruised almost every year from 7 to 17. They always enjoyed meeting other kids in the club and hanging out all week. They are now 21 and going on their first cruise, in May, since they were 17. There isn't a central place for 18 to 20 year olds to meet and thought they would be bored so they opted not to cruise during those years. If they had a vote, they would go definitely go before their birthday. Will see how cruising at 21 goes! 🙂

  11. Yes. This happened to a couple we traveled with in June, she had a 1000 time, he had 230. She went first in case they checked the time but I don't think they did. Either way shouldn't be an issue.
  12. This just happened to me after using the NCL chat to make a dinner reservation that would not process. Went in to confirm I could see it, and everything disappeared. Had to call IT as resetting my password did not work, did not have to update my username.
  13. @jsCruise was great and would definitely book the same cabin again! Loved being close to the waterfront, restaurants, and steps away from the DBH (spent a lot of time there with the fantastic bar staff!). Didn't get a lot of opportunity to use the huge balcony (2 loungers, bigger table with chairs) d/t cooler temps but will be great for you in July. We hate fighting the chair hogs and don't have to with a balcony this large. I have a couple of pictures if that would be helpful. Full disclosure, there was some "bass" noise from the theater shows at 7p and 930p, but we were either in and out of the cabin during those times or just reading so wasn't a big deal for us. Hope you enjoy your cruise!
  14. Had this cabin in February. Can confirm the bed is by the balcony and the large balcony is great! Awesome being close to the waterfront and DBH. Enjoy!
