Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Update folks. Here on board, day 7. Chic night….just had a gent walk past in his very smart tuxedo and kilt. 3 minutes earlier, another gent passed by on his way with his family in pretty much the dress in the photo. With his trainers on, shirt out, no boat shoes..(for comparison purposes). It’s all go!! 😀
  2. And definitely no women in flip flops 😀
  3. Last night it was predominantly men in tailored shorts. It would seem the ladies still like to dress up
  4. Ok just an update after 3 nights. Second night was chic night, everyone wearing long threads (so the suggestion this is something to do with half the male guests losing their luggage is moot). Some dressed more chic than others but that’s to be expected Last night (night 3), I’d say about 30% of men in shorts. Most in tailored shorts. One gent I spotted wearing flip flops
  5. Boarded the Reflection yesterday, everything is great and the staff are fantastic. One observation though. I know it was first night and all that but couldn’t get over how many men were wearing shorts in the MDR. What do people think, is this the way forward on Celebrity or just another standard slipping?
  6. We're on the July 15th trip if that helps
  7. Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere but can anyone confirm antigen tests in Italian are acceptable at the port? Thanks
  8. Apologies just to be a little clearer, does anyone know is it closed for lunch permanently or is it a short term issue? Thanks
  9. Currently looking at the celebrity app, specifically at the last couple of cruises on Reflection and it looks like The Porch is no longer open for lunch. Can anyone confirm? Thanks
  10. Heading on the Edge in 10 days time out of civitevecchia. Just got an email from celebrity saying as ‘up to date’ vaccinated, we need to provide antigen tests taken within 2 days before our cruise. We are travelling from Ireland so within the EU (if this makes any difference?). Issue is we are landing into Rome 3 days before the cruise; does this mean we have to go find somewhere in Rome to do an antigen test? Seems unvaccinated or out of date can simply do the test at the port.
