We have lunch today at Izumi, North Star a roll call gathering then around 300ish we will go ashore and meet up at Grills. 
 

Dinner tonight will be at Izumi. 
 

Whilst on shore I’ll send more smoke signals to Maureen’s ship on Carnival Legend in hopes she gets them. 

Day Two my drink count toward the Deluxe Beverage Package was approximately 17. We did have our slot pull and bar hop so it was a very busy day.

We are slowly making our way to Port Canaveral. We should dock around 3. Time for the ship to reload. 
 

We apparently have a cucumber shortage as I wanted a cucumber drink and couldn’t be made because they didn’t have any cucumbers. 😀

Eating in the Diamond lounge what do I see in here the morning? Cucumbers. Time to bring the ingredients to the bar. 😀

My internet has been wonky since last night, so expect delays with my posts until it clears.
 

Pushed thru 16 drinks on day One with the drink package.

It’s getting real now. Guess we really are cruising tomorrow. 
 

Health Question is now complete!

Since my last post I’m still not packed. No rush, right? 

Todays pre-cruise lunch. Open sandwich lobster roll.

Now at some point today it’s time to wrap things up for being gone for a week and pack.

Shouldn't I already be packed by now? 
 

I’ve not even left yet and having withdrawals of missing the pets. 
 

It’s after 12:00 now so we can go back into the RC Ap and finish our health questionnaire.

I was kind of worried you might have tested positive since there was quite a long break after you said you were waiting for your results. I'm so glad that wasn't the case. Hope you have an amazing cruise! 

Naw but I was there almost 2 hours so I had to get back to work. Had lots to do. 

Then there was One Day until cruise day!

Cruisemas Eve Day!! So exciting!

Well well cruise friends what a two days before cruise day it’s been! 
 

Like a big ole roller coaster. 😀🚢🍸🍍

This morning the day started out driving 50 minutes to get my Covid test, got there and looked at my phone and saw a message from one of my travel companions that had scheduled the same test spot that CVS had cancelled testing that day and we should have gotten an email. They had been turned away and left without being tested.
 

My scheduled appointment time was 9:20am. I read the message and basically said no way, I’m getting my test. 😀

I then proceeded to go inside CVS to see what was up. Employee then proceeded to tell me what my friend had messaged me. I then stated, but I’ve got an appointment and did not get any notifications that it was cancelled, I’m now here for my appointment.

Employee then stated the nurse that does them just arrived and she can get me back into the system from all the ones for the day that were cancelled. Employee stated she thought the nurse was going to be out that day as she had been out all week.

About thirty minutes later and a bit of a power struggle of workers they got me back loaded into the system.

While I was there as part of it I got a “health check” where my blood pressure which she stated seemed elevated but most likely due to the circumstances was taken, temperature which was normal then on to my pulse.
 

Finally after all that nonsense the covid test machine that hadn’t been used all week got it’s updates and she was ready for me to stick this stick up my nose and swish it around each nostril 5 times until my eyes watered and I was crying for mommy. 
 

Finally we were done, we both smoked a cigarette and cherished the intimate moment.

She said it will take about 20 minutes or so… Before she got another word out I said I’ll be waiting here until I get my results and walk away with it on a piece of paper, I’ve to much time invested here to just leave now and wait for an email. 😀

Then left our little intimate room and sat out in waiting area which seemed like a month. 
 

After that month went by the sweet lady boo booped out and said your “Negative”! We all cheered and clapped. I said thank  you, I’ll wait here until you get me my paperwork. Shortly after my results showed up on my CVS AP and the other kind lady handed me a paper copy.

After all that excitement it was time to go back to work and wrap up things to be gone for a week. Picked up a few things at the store. Before I knew it the end of the day and time to do a few more pre- cruise things and figure out dinner.

Ive got a big week of eating TONS of food and I must stretch my stomach to savior every moment. Not only will it be food, but meals in all the Specialty Restaurants as I’ve got the Unlimited Dining Package but one night at Chefs Table too.  The cherry on top of it all will be the Deluxe Beverage Package that I finally caved in and purchased two nights ago more for the meer fact of convenience. Most like just wasted my money as I do get my daily Diamond Plus drink coupons plus Free drinks in the casino being Prime, but hey, it is what it is.

So there you have it cruise friends that 2 days before cruise day in the day and the life of MrFunInTheSun.

Did I mention that this is my first time cruising out of a port not located in the state of Florida. 
 

This is going to be fun! Can’t wait to get back at sea and most importantly back at sea with some amazing Royal Caribbean crew and my amazing cruise friends and new cruise friends I’m going to meet on this voyage!!

Lets go!!  Catch you all on Saturday, when it’s One Day before cruise day. Can’t wait to see what Saturday adventures may be on the horizon.

The one thing I do remember clearly is how the last couple of days pre-cruise are simply torture!!!!

Pre-cruise day today has started very stressful. 
 

Drove an hour to get my covid test to be told appointments were canceled. But then then nurse had just recently showed up and they will force me back into the system. Patiently waiting now for my results. I’m not leaving here without them.

Definitely don’t cancel. Go solo. Solo cruises are the best.
