Thanks for checking. I was looking for the sheet with the various color group times and times for self disembark. Im not sure if they would allow us to sign up for the direct to airport with an 11:40 am departure. Just got off a 2 week Caribbean cruise and caught a cough/cold midway through the second week. It was very miserable flying home from Ft. Lauderdale. I wore a mask and kept telling people it wasn’t COVID, but you do get stares. Can’t imagine flying home from Vancouver not feeling well.

We are doing the same 14 day on the Sapphire in May. I was wondering if you kept the debarkation times sheet and if so could you post it. Im still trying to book our flights and am trying to avoid having to take a red eye. It’s hard getting to Cincinnati from Vancouver. There is an American option that departs Vancouver at 11:40 am. When I check EZAir it defaults to flights after 12:00 noon. The only other large ship at Canada Place will be the Koningsdam. Do you think this is doable if we self disembark? Thank you. I’ve picked up many tips from your blog which will be helpful.

What time are you scheduled to get back to Vancouver. Ours shows 7:30 When I look at EZ air for the day we get back it defaults to anytime after 12:00 noon.

Opinions if it is cutting it too close for a 11:40 am flight from Vancouver airport. We are supposed to dock at 7:30 on the Sapphire Princess. The only large ship the same day is Holland America Koningsdam. When trying to look at flights thru Princess the parameters are after 12:00 noon. Living in the Midwest it is hard to find flights that get home the same day albeit late. Only other alternative is leaving late afternoon/night and flying overnight which we are trying to avoid. We really don’t want to spend the day/night in Vancouver since we will be there several days before the cruise.

We don’t buy any packages, but I believe so, but will let others answer. I’ve read that if you are Elite you will get a second setup at the beginning of the second week. We just made Elite, so we will see.

Wrong. It is 2 cruise credits. I just did it in a 14 day Caribbean cruise which could also be booked as 2 7-day cruises. Same for my upcoming 14 day in Alaska. If it can only be booked as a true 14 day cruise, it is 1 cruise credit.

We did the same thing and booked as a 14 day. The price was a little less at the time and we earn $50 more in shareholder OBC. We don’t buy a package so the number of free specialty dining doesn’t matter. We will still get our 2 Elite mini bar setups. Also get 2 cruise credits. You will see less cabin availability when looking at the 14 day cruise even though the same cabin may be available on both individual legs but doesn’t show on the 14 day.

Another dining reservation question. I booked reservations in the main dining room for my upcoming May cruise. They are there on the old app, but I don’t see them on the new app. In looking around, it seems much simpler on the old app. Do I need to make reservations again on the new app? What has been other people’s experiences?

I’m currently onboard the Caribbean. Have an upcoming 14 day cruise in May which I wanted to pre-pay for single device for me and DH. Neither version of the app would allow us to pull up any cruise other than the one we are currently on. We even checked with the Internet cafe folks. This sucks. They could have at least advised of the increase and provided a period before the increase began.

Question regarding your Uber charge. We are staying near your hotel and when we checked the price for this Sunday it came up with a price of $26 and change for anytime we put in from 10:30 to 12:00. Did u reserve in advance or that morning? Thanks

No my husband is traveling with me. We each are getting 2 cruise credits. At the end of the 2nd leg we will be Elite.

I had taken one beforehand and it was on the app. They took another one at check-in for both me and my husband.

Wrong. I have an upcoming 14 day Caribbean cruise booked which can also be booked as 2 7-day cruises (Eastern and Western Caribbean). My personalizer shows I will get 2 cruise credits.

We are doing the same thing. Booked it as a 14 day because it was a little less and we get $250 shareholder OBC vs. $200 if 2 cruises. We book standard fare so the extras with the packages didn’t matter. We still get 2 cruise credits. I did notice that it showed less cabin availability as a 14 day cruise. Work out the numbers and see what is best for you.

Was recently on the Emerald. I used a small round LED night light in the bathroom outlet with no problem.

Does anyone have the breakdown for the OBC you get when using a FCD? Im looking at a 16 day Panamal cruise in either an inside or balcony. I don’t currently have an FCD but could purchase in January.
