Thank you John. We are looking forward to our cruise and very aware that we will be paying for some things the more expensive lines include. But for us, we save the airfares to Sydney plus a night or two in a hotel before the cruise, plus we got a good price. We sailed on the Encounter in its previous life as the Star Princess in Alaska. Thank you fir your review. We have just booked on Encounter, our first P&O cruise after cruising with Princess, Celebrity and Royal Caribbean. We understand this is a more basic level of cruising, but cruise options in the Australian winter are very limited. Travelling from our home port is also very attractive. We go with an open mind and plan to enjoy ourselves.

Crew are tested every 3 days. Reported that most who tested positive are asymptomatic or have very mild symptoms.
