Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. We're sailing with you! We cruised the Venezia in late February and recently booked this one. Got an upgrade offer already and after mulling it over a few days, I accepted! Now that I know the layout of the ship and all my favorite spots, I can move to an aft balcony and be VERY happy! I have to do a personal count, but after many, many cruises on many different lines, this is the first time I have EVER booked the same ship! Guess I'm a fan?😍
  2. Been awhile since I've cruised - pre-Covid - and I can't recall how I checked in for the muster drill on the first day. I have a scooter and two able-bodied adult kids with me, and have notified the cruiseline of my disability. I cannot do stairs or walk long distances. Are the elevators disabled during a drill or not? Thanks for any and all input!
  3. Yes! We did a weekend Labor Day cruise on The Glory years ago;, two physical fights, thrown chairs and gang colors. Yet have had some great Carnival cruises, along with many other lines over the years. Lifetime New Yorker here - nothing like sailing out of New York!
  4. Hello jdog99! We're with you on the February sailing, still booked but somewhat anxious about the various Venezia complaints. I think this may be cruise # 17 for me, and my adult kids accompanying me are seasoned cruisers as well (31m and 27f). I've sailed on many lines - from Cunard to Carnival - and know for certain that even a bad day at sea is better than a good day at work!! What have YOU heard? Any concerns? My latest is inconsistent temps. If there's no AC in my cabin up on Deck 11, that would be a dealbreaker!
