How does contactless work with multiple ppl travelling? Im going with my teen. Do I need two cards on my Apple Pay?

Im staying at Hotel de Roubaix in Paris. My OYO hotel is in London.

Then I guess the apple wallet trick doesn't work for all because mine only has GTY after the dash and the numbers before it are different for both passes.

Mine still says GTY after the dash on my May sailing. Maybe they’re considering my Royal up!

So I just got WISE (formally TrustWise) bc my RBC account is garbage lol essentially, I am able to preload currencies from my RBC account and then I get a debit card to use internationally that automatically pulls those funds in the currency. I only paid a small conversion at the time of adding the funds to my wise account. I will be bringing my (hopefully, just applied for) home trust visa but the nomads use WISE with no problems. Def check into it. I currently have CAD, USD, Euros, and GBP on this one debit card. I can add money from my RBC as etransfer from anywhere and have access to my funds almost instantly.

I’m sailing with my 12 year old in may. In October I was able to bring on 2 bottles-now for my 12 nights I can only bring one: while those with 4 adults get 4 bottles per staterooms essentially, I get one bc my full fare paying second guest is under 21.

I was exaggerating obviously lol I bit the bullet and just bought the tickets. Leaving London at 6am. Good thing my hotel is across the street. staying at Jesmond Dene and and OYO. I got the tickets for 208$ USD for 2 ppl. I’m just taken aback at the cost is all. But, it’s just money! All about the experience!

I booked to Victoria station and my ticket says Hammersmith. Of course it’s non refundable 🙄 I guess I can hop on the Piccadilly line from here all the way to Kings Cross??

We are just carrying two small roller bags (carry on size) and backpacks. We are young (30s and hes 12) so I think the train would be ok then. Id rather get there early than sit on a smelly bus for 3 hrs lol

Headed to Paris May 15 for one night via London. Prices right now are absurd. When should I book? I understand the earlier, the better....but this train ticket is more than my 4 nights in London lol

Although the train is quicker, I am reading that the coach is just the way to go. My hotel is in the St Pancras area, so my understanding is to book the Nat Express to end in Victoria coach and WALK to Victoria station and take the tube up to Kings Cross/St Pancras? How long is this journey? Where do I buy a tube ticket? Is there somewhere to buy metro passes for the week? I know about Osyster cards but do I buy that when we get to the tube station?? Also, I need to get from hotel in Pimlico to Heathrow on a Thursday afternoon. Easiest way?? Thanks!!! -signed one anxious Canadian

Ty! I’m looking at a few near the tower or in the Latin district. It’s one night so I’m not that worried about the cramped space in Europe hotels. I don’t need anything except a bed and proximity to the main attractions.

Ty! We decided to do an overnight in Paris post. I’ll look into an OYO into Honfleur and explore.

Going on a TA in may and this is a stop. First time overseas and Paris is a definite want to venture out to visit. We will be there from 8 to 8 but transfers are sold out. Is the train the best option (and easy to navigate) and is the 6 hour RT worth the less than 2 hours to explore (see the Eiffel Tower but not go up). Ty!
