We got off an RCCL ship last week with 600+ 12-17 yo teens onboard. Heaven only knows how many <12 yo kids (1000 to 1500?). It was winter break and since most of the country's schools have a winter break that coincides with President's Day. It is not suprising that there was significantly more kids that particular week.

Off Symphony today. We used a gift card the entire time. It needs to be used at Starbucks and will not be accepted at Cafe Promenade.

Just got off Symphony today. There was ranch in the Windjammer but nobody in our party of 8 could stomach it. Also, no blue cheese.

If you go the Bonine route, I suggest purchasing a bottle of Meclizine Hydrocholoride. It is a lot cheaper (<$10 for a bottle of 100) than the Bonine pricing. They are both the same thing (25mg of Meclizine Hydrocholoride), but Bonine costs 2-3x more. We just take one each day while on the ship as a preventive measure since you never know when the ship will run into rougher waters.

I received a notification from Princess this morning for our Sept 14 trip. We will be there from 8am - 4pm.

I am acting as the organizer for a family trip that includes 3 staterooms / reservations. All these reservations were paid in full the first week of Nov 2022. Back on 12/6/22 I booked an 80th birthday lunch for 9 guests across these 3 reservations. I paid in full for all 9 guests and received my emailed receipt. Later that day while looking at our plans, I realized that there was suddenly now a balance pending of $87.24 for one of the staterooms. This was the exact amount for the cost of the 80th birthday lunch for the 4 individuals in the stateroom. It appeared as a cautionary statement, like "Balance of $87.24 due by Nov 20, 2022" (similiar to what you see prior to paying for your cruise in full). I thought it was odd since it was past the final due date and I also had a receipt showing the cruise was paid in full back on Nov 7, 2022. I panicked and just paid it in fear that they would do exactly what I've read here. I guess I'm happy I did, but I'm still not sure how I'm going to attempt to get the $87.24 refunded. I cringe thinking about spending hours on the phone trying to explain such a simple IT error. It took us hours just to get all our dining for 9 guests set up since the app only allows you to set up for 8 people on one reservation. Erg!!

Princess has an affiliation with Peppermill Reno’s players club (Passport Club). I’ve received two of vouchers in the past 6 months. If you are you platinum level you receive a free inside and diamond level for balcony on up to a 7 day cruise. This voucher is available for pick up during the month or December. I received the 2nd voucher via a mailing and it was for a balcony on cruises up to 10 days. In both instances you can upgrade for an additional fee.

I’m sorry to hear that. Once I’d responded I wasn’t sure if the time change might cause any sort of other complications. Best of luck getting the rest completed. On a more positive note, if you can’t get through then nobody else can either (taking early check in times). 😁

I ran into the same issue last night when I tried to check in at 9:01 PST on all my various devices. I was finally able to begin check in at 10:00 PST. I don’t know why. Just give it a try at 10:00. Best of luck!
