    But still no prices visible.

    2025

We booked the 3rd of July one during pre registration last year. All the suites appear to be sold out.
  3. According to Google Earth, it's approx. 2km from cruise port to the Cathedral and will take around 30 minutes. Of course the timing is dependent on many variables.

Yes, I'm already eyeing up my pre-Christmas 2026 Canaries trip with Cunard 😁
  5. Off topic again, Cunard are releasing 2026 itineraries early next month. Unlike Saga their suites do tend to sell out quickly. In the meantime Saga haven't yet released the summer 2025 itineraries πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ
  6. The Flam train ride on our Northern Lights trip is priced at Β£89pp. Do it yourself approx Β£35pp.
  7. Yes, go for it and please post a review on the Saga boards. I have 3 Queen Anne cruises booked, 2 in QG and 1 in PG and just hope I'm going to enjoy the experience of such a large ship.

Sorry, nosapphire this is not true. Based on the questions you have answered, you have chosen not to select Saga Cruise Single Trip Travel Insurance. 98456 Magic of the Northern Lights [ SD130 ] K Grade Β£ 5024.00 Early Booking Discount - 35% Β£ -1785.00 UK Travel - Shared Car, Shared Car Β£ 0.00 Just for clarity this is an E deck midships cabin reserved after pre-reg phone call

twotravellersLondon has confirmed this. We are pre-registered up until 2027 at the moment, and will look at 2028 when the 2025 summer sailings are released. There is no risk to the fee so win, win.

Thank you very much for that. πŸ™‚ I hear people speak about discounts given closer to sailing but I have never seen a discount as great as that when pre-registered. We will continue to pre-register and choose our cabin.

Can you be more forthcoming re discount on standard cabin price please? Length of cruise and location, TIA
  12. Wash hands regularly and don’t use the public bathrooms on the ship
  13. We’ve booked QA for this December and next November/December to the Canaries in the Q5 cabins at the stern. Lovely sheltered balconies. Love a little winter sun and being looked after in the grills.
  14. Yes, slimline tonic is available πŸ™‚
  15. With regards to brochures it's easy to go to your MySaga account and select no mail. If you don't have an account give them a call and ask them to remove you from the mailing list.
  16. Saga are no longer sending out excursion brochures. Another cost cutting decision.
  17. Fair enough πŸ™‚ Were you offered any compensation? Friends that I recommended Saga to were caught in the BOB on the previous cruise to you. It was their first cruise and whilst they enjoyed the first half they have decided to fly out in future rather than sail thru the bay. Next cruise is with Silversea
  18. Usually midships on D or E. We’ve noticed decks seem to be cleared top down. Certainly no priority for Gold Britannia members. Last cruise there were roughly 70 members in each of Bronze, Silver and Gold with around a dozen Sapphire and 1 Diamond members, on an almost full ship. We are now considering driving ourselves down to Portsmouth, although not so keen on the Dover trip πŸ™‚
  19. As a regular cruiser with Saga the included excursions hold no value as we have visited these ports many times. As to the transfers, we always seem to be tag 30 and sitting kicking our heels to disembark is no fun.
  20. I refer you back to an earlier post with regards to pricing. e.g. We have a 14 night Canary Isle cruise booked in QG for Dec. 2024 Β£4700 each, currently a deluxe cabin on a 14 night Saga cruise in Dec. 2024 is Β£5225 (35% discount). Our QG grade cabins are all sold out. Of course it's not all about the money, we still travel with Saga and hope to book a couple of cruises with them when they release their 2025 offerings. It's all about personal choice and what works for you. Obviously it all depends on the itinerary and more importantly whether or not Sagas included amenities have value to you. Saga gold and Cunard diamond.
  21. I suppose it depends on whether or not the add ons give value to you personally. πŸ™‚
  22. I’m just back from a Saga cruise on Discovery and have to agree. Food quality is declining, even in specialities. Too much emphasis on included alcohol at the expense of the food. Who wants or needs sparkling wine at breakfast? Ordering off menu in QG I can have an individually prepared dish every night if I so desired. Lead in QG prices are roughly comparable to the cost of a deluxe balcony on Saga.
  23. I wish they had some cruises from and back to UK πŸ˜•
  24. Yes exactly. We have 3 booked on Queen Anne and with the ability to order off menu I'll be happy 😊
