If they ever start charging for that service I'll be taking it myself when we leave the DR. Just cover the plate with a napkin, get up and walk out inconspicuously.
That's probably the easiest way to do things but maybe the OP doesn't know how to convert their DVD's to movie formats.
I found out last cruise that their TV's only accept .m4v formatted files.
And don't forget a USB extension cable to plug your thumb drive into their TV.
The do have many movies to choose from but I consider most of them to be quite old. So unless you like revisiting them again, bring your own selections.
True but that's not a fair comparison, even to the main DR.
Sabatini's breakfast is prepared especially for each individual guest one at a time and the pastries are different (upgraded) then those served elsewhere.
Our experiences in the past were very similar to yours. They initially take you order quickly but be sure to give them a complete order or you'll be out of luck. Refills seem to be the last thing they care about.
Thanks, either function is OK by me but the luncheon is preferable.
That is provided we get the invitation. 😁
Are you staying on board in Ft Lauderdale for another cruise?
No not at all. You'll find it on the desk with a cover on it. We always order extra desserts that you'll only see once in the DR.
Oh, btw if you like you can always go to a show and return to the DR just before they close in the evening to dessert & coffee. Usually at 9 PM sharp.
Of course it's being done, all the time. Maybe not outright in plain view but certainly between family & friends. On our last trip our trivia group was always with the same people & the drinks flowed freely.
I've learned how to avoid the crowds at the buffet depending on if it's a sea day or port day. Those card players don't usually arrive early. Of course getting there early on a sea day is important if you want to stake out your favorite location near the pool. Let all those that like the DR enjoy their 90 minute leisurely breakfast. 😄
I bought it when it was cheaper to begin with and quickly realized how overpriced it is. I can sail using my RumRuners adding it to mocktails and get by very nicely. I'll have to dust them off & get ready for my next sailing. Between my husband & I we'll bring around 2 liters total which should last us until we get to St Thomas for a refill.
It sure is but it's gets tiring having to keep correcting them each day.
I wonder how many people don't check & just accept their erroneous bill at the end of the cruise.
That's the way it was on the Enchanted last March. Maybe things have changed today.
Next cruise we don't have a package so it'll be easy to keep track of.
