  1. Pretty much the same routine. Some of the crew prepare the ship with additional decorations, but the majority is done by an outside company.
  2. Depending on how noisy your neighbors are, sometimes that adjoining door doesn't block the sounds. Plus if they like sailing with their balcony door open you'll get a whistling sound under the door when they keep it open.
  3. It was nice when it was free but $149 P/P ?? Although many people would, I'm not sure we would be willing to spend that much for a dinner.
  4. We still have our 100 shares of CCL but with all the uncertainty in the travel industry lately, I wouldn't be betting any great amount for capital gains in their stock.
  5. Typical Princess cake quality..... all made for looks, not flavor.
  6. We wash out underwear and socks are easily washed out ourselves. Anything else we might send in, but only for "cleaning", not laundry.
  7. We also got a few on the Enchanted in March and like yourself they did give them to us but we felt it was willingly. We still prefer to do laundry ourselves rather than risk damage by their hot dryers.
  8. Nothing, but then again what's to stop Elites from sending in laundry with their things for others as well? The only way to curtail it is to put a dollar cap on Elite laundry service.
  9. Not even one unless you were to just give me a glass of the gelato by itself. They're not exactly free anyway, but included at $60 per day.
  10. Considering the amount of people who have said they didn't like those desserts, I'm very surprised that they haven't changed them to something more palatable.
  11. The only way I would ever eat one is just with plane gelato minus all the other junk..... and even at that, only maybe one per day. Since we don't get the plus, I've got nothing to worry about. 😑
  12. There were a couple of threads with updated info.
  13. Just give it to a friend. I'm sure there might be someone who would take it.
  14. We just left ours in the cabin.
  15. There wasn't the time we sailed with 2 TV's. I've often wondered why not? They should at least have an audio jack for headphones.
  16. Especially that you can't fly home without a passport. You might be stuck in a foreign country for weeks waiting to get approval. I can't understand why it's such a long period but they do take their time from what I'm told.
  17. I've come to the conclusion that they eliminated the extra chair wanting people to spend extra in order to get another seat/couch.
  18. I didn't see anyone dress up formally, only casual style clothing.
  19. I think the answer is quite obvious. 💲💲. Over a billion dollars profit last quarter even with a non enforcement of a dress code/suggestion. I guess a good number of people are satisfied the way things are today.
  20. I was referring to the mass market cruise lines like NCL, Celebrity, HAL, Carnival, MSC. I'm sure there must be a few remaining cruise lines that still have dress up nights besides Cunard.
  21. Oh, I get it alright. Yes, I'm almost sure that they've changed their policy due to many arguments at the door on formal evenings. That and the fact that Princess was the only remaining cruise line to publish a formal dress code while the other cruise lines had long abandoned it. It all boils down to them not wanting to lose $$$$$.
  22. Not at all. I couldn't care less what clothing others care to wear. It's just nice that Princess has finally come to their senses about their "formal nights" by allowing everyone to choose what appeals to their own style.
  23. Well maybe they haven't considering what they publish on their web site but from what I know, Princess is allowing people to dress as casually as they wish on any night, like it or not. This provides a situation of fantasy for everyone.
