  1. Yeah, well on the latest update on both the RC and X apps, that option seems to have disappeared. Oh well, thanks anyway
  2. So, reading cruise critic finally after a week in Alberta, and found this. Glad you're having a good time. Our first Hawaii cruise was on the Sapphire back around 2012.
  3. I'm on the Symphony in December. No menu on the app, and I know where to look. Of course, I'm having the same issue on the Celebrity app.
  4. All we've been escorted to (sky suites) is generally one end or the other of the gangway. Never to the room. Which is fine, I know where they are.
  5. We did the Duck last time we were there. It was great. For those who don't do ship excursions, it's an easy walk from the pier, and you can save some money if that's all you want to do.
  6. So, now on Production shows, the Sky Suites no longer get the reserved seating? Aren't they still putting that in the benefit list? Not a big deal but still.
  7. We were in a Reserve mini - we did laundry 3 times, got them back in 2 days once, next day twice.
  8. Personally, I find this hard to believe, although she maybe hasn't heard any feedback yet, since she talks to people precruise?
  9. It was indeed. Today's update now includes the total points in the circle on the checkin page. Also if you click through, you can see the benefits for each tier.
  10. Yup. I'm on the Apex in December, and if the experience is not what I'm used to I will talk to Retreat staff and the Hotel director, etc. Politely of course.
  11. We were in Quebec City for a couple of precruise days, and we had dinner at the restaurant you posted the picture of. (Aux anciens Canadiens). It was great - and their Maple Syrup Pie was amazing.
  12. First, our experience in Civitavecchia was similar, but it was our first sky suite, so we didn't know any better. We did have a different check in like, but the Aqua line was actually a little shorter. And by the time we got there, everyone was just boarding as they came. Second, when DH and I were on the Summit in April, it was his first time and my third. By afternoon of the first day he asked me if I knew everyone on the ship and was going to hug them all.
  13. I've had more mistakes on Princess with the medallion than with the card on X, but I've had extra charges on both.
  14. We just got back from a week in Calgary and Banff, and saw this, so I'm following. Sounds like you did better with food then we did in 2017. Friends did a tour where their local guide said not to go to a restaurant with a multipage menu, or one that had Jewish Artichokes on the menu (out of season). We went to. restaurant that her daughter had recommended, and sure enough, Artichokes and multipage menu. The company from our roll call was good though. Have a great cruise.
  15. I think it's called a center cut ribeye. It comes up here once in a while. I've heard it can be a very good cut of meat, but, I don't know why, but not good on X
  16. Which likely means 1pm or so. Everyone who took a train in for our September cruise was late. Apparently, quite usual. I hope you're the exception.
  17. Great so far. Fun fact - your Fairmont hotels are the Canadian Railroad built hotels. We're in Alberta for a week right now and have visited two of them. (Banff Springs and Lake Louise).
  18. Please see above. The points are supposed to be awarded in November.
  19. I hope the new and improved Amuse-Bouches are not fish centric. I don't eat fish, and one cruise within the last year was fish almost every day. I had a lot of berries as amuse-bouche. Got very boring, although on one ship they'd throw balsamic reduction on them, which made them a whole lot better.
  20. And now, I guess I have go to the website, since the app now shows my 1587 points as 1.5K, so adding 3 more points won't change that. Am I missing something?
  21. In both Calgary (yesterday) and Quebec (last month) everyone went to the kiosk. In Quebec, I forgot to do my ArriveCan, and had to answer the questions. In Calgary I did it, and just had to confirm I had no changed. Saved about a minute or two.
  22. As far as things like drink packages go - no you get what you had. You do get the access to Luminae, lounge and sundeck (if the ship has it), and I've been told you get drinks while in the lounge and sundeck. But you don't get the drink package that was associated with booking a suite.
  23. I never said that anyone had no empathy. All I said was that there didn't seem to be any expressed here. You are all making assumptions about me. So just be happy that Celebrity is making good, and pray to whatever god you do that this ends soon, and let's all go back to complaining about food cuts. And I hope you all get to go to Israel eventually. It's amazing and eye opening. (And the food, btw is great). Peace all.
