  1. I felt like you do. I like the smaller ships and was afraid that on the huge ones, it would be too crowded. Then we tried Symphony and loved it. So take the plunge.
  2. Absolutely. We booked the same itinerary and an aft cabin for January 2020. Love the idea of visiting Tortola and Punta Cana. I will also qualify for my crystal block! Cannot wait.
  3. Even if you don't like the port, you have 365 beaches to sample. We tried Frye beach. Lovely and would love to get back and discover more.
  4. Our first cruise was on Sovereign right after Royal "stretched" it. Earned us a 1 whole cruise point. We took it because we were doing a Serenade Alaska cruise and I wanted to be able to go to the past cruiser event. Now I'm addicted, of course.
  5. Savory bites; bran muffins; muesli cups; I used to love the bay scallops au gratin, but I don't think this dish is on the new menus.
  6. How funny. The day we were in Costa Maya, it poured rain and we were "forced" to spend our time in that same tequila bar. Your are really making me wish I were on the Symphony again.
  7. Your photos are so awesome, I don't think I can wait to revisit Symphony until 4/2021. I wanted to get my crystal block on her, but, sadly it didn't work out. Thanks for sharing.
  8. Great tapas restaurant right next to Senor Frog's. Sorry I don't remember its name.
  9. We took this same itinerary on Symphony this past January. Loved it, loved it, loved it. Sol y Mar is a great beach. As you walk into the beach, go to the furthest right to the "coffee" shop. Great sangria and food. Would love to be going with you, but guess I will try to be satisfied by your live report.
  10. Thank you! The photos are great. We are sailing on the Majesty in a little over 20 days -- the 4 night Havana and Nassau. Now I am more than excited.
  11. We took the cruise to the Pitons, booked through Royal, and it was absolutely fabulous.
  12. We just returned from a cruise where we had a "regular" size balcony, and my husband finally understands how size matters.
  13. We were supposed to be on this cruise, but something came up and had to cancel. Too bad for all the passengers looking forward to the Canaries. May you use your refundable OBC and cruise credit towards another wonderful experience.
  14. I have a friend who is taking her second cruise on Majesty. Her first was 25 years ago on that same ship. She was able to find her photo album from that cruise, contacted C&A and is now a Gold cruiser with one cruise point.
