  1. We pushed it back to next year for obvious reasons. In April I believe
  2. Title says it all. We had booked a suite so it's a significant amount of money we have sitting in the hands of RCL.
  3. I'm setting sail in a few weeks on the Equinox, and I booked a suite in the retreat. I've done the Haven on NCL a few times so I'm wondering how it compares. I understand the restaurant isn't available for lunch everyday. But how does the in suite dining work? On NCL you can get food from any specialty restaurant as long as you pay. But overall, what else can I expect from the retreat? Thanks
  4. That's what I'm thinking, We'll be spending a few nights in London after the Cruise. Might as well relax and have a later start to the day in Winchester or Salisbury
  5. DW and I have a hotel booked in central london the night before the cruise. But now I'm wondering if it's worth just going to Winchester the morning before we disembark. We probably won't do too much, maybe lunch and dinner. We'll be very tired from the overnight flight.
  6. I would recommend checking if you've already booked a cruise. I have a haven suite booked on the encore and the "sale" actually saved me around $900 after I called and got a price adjustment.
  7. I'm not sure if choice air is the same as flights by celebrity. But this is what I've found while booking american airlines with flights by celebrity. AA will always show the discount fare if available and flights by celebrity will always offer the full fare business class regardless of discount fare availability. The difference is booking code I vs booking code J. I - Discount fare business class J - Full fare business class The difference in prices will be in the thousands. When booking I always call instead of doing it online, and ask them to check for any seats available with booking code "I". If AA still has discounts seats available they'll book it for you. If I don't ask, they always choose full fare pricing (booking code "J").
  8. DW and I are booked for September and I can’t wait. But I’m really curious about all the details. Information is scarce at best. I found a YouTube video that was posted the other day going over the ship and the islands. Also, the review on CC was updated with some useful information as well.
  9. I've never been to Oslo before and we'll be spending two days at port (overnight). I'm wondering if we should just explore the city for two days or possibly do an overnight excursion.
  10. Mine covers a myriad of things, but it doesn't cover if the cruise line cancels. I wonder if that's standard.
  11. With a lot of yay/nay comments on travel insurance. Some credit cards have it built into their benefits. If you have a fancy CC with a large annual fee, you probably already have travel insurance as long as you pay with said card.
  12. I'm not familiar with that. Is it a special evening of dining? Oh.. Is that the magic carpet dinner? Also, I'm in a suite. Is it possible to contact my concierge or butler before the cruise to take care of the reservations?
  13. I'm thinking of getting the 3 night dining package and I'm wondering if there are any restrictions on where I can dine or additional fees? I'm looking at Le Petite Chef, Eden, and Fine Cut Steakhouse.
