  2. funny, I was checking same today too! ;O) Sun cures all! Staying in Fort Laud night before, always do, then uber to Miami...flying in from Detroit,
  3. OH I thought your name here in CC was CK?? Short for Ckrobyn
  4. πŸ‘ also you are a Old Fashioned drinker, so another suggestion, MM is good, Woodford too, Bullit Bourbon is good, but these can sweeten the drink more, try for a test, Bullit Rye (not sure if they will have it on board though) or Crown Royal Rye. Now when you get to Vegas, fave spot to eat is Bavettes at the Park, also as it may, best Old Fashions, ask for Garth, tell him Eddie sent you and to make is world famous, he makes his own Simple Syrup and bitters, its fabulous!!!
  5. lol omg same, never do the elevator unless late at night and no one using them, but healthy guy, peloton 12-15 km every other day, walk at golf etc get on the cruise and do stairs, and im like what the hell!? lol I swear has to do with the ship in buoyancy state?? 🀣
  6. geeze CK will be right beside you on the Grandeur same embarkation day!
  7. JFTFOI - try Woodford with a splash of Ginger..you will like it better than the cola! I bet!?
  8. omg LOVE the Pumpkin seed rolls, , we ask for them night 1, they will find them, also, hard to find but will make them if you tip, are the poppy seed rolls, amazing!!!
  9. We did the Lahaina Maui port - tendered with Ovation OTS - 1st day we enjoyed a few hours at Ka-anapali Beach - and Whalers Village also Hula Grill, the beach the Village and Hula Grill all excellent! Then we walked part beach and part boardwalk to the Royal Lahaina Resort for the Myths of Maui Luau...then cab or uber back to ship, next day headed to Wailea area to a Resort Beach, then back to ship, all was great, nil problems, and the rides there and back on both directions are part of the attraction/site seeing.
  10. You know what, I forgot as I ended up changing spots and went to Amsterdam Manor, but walked the beach and there are places all along the beach, he was left further up if looking out to the water. sorry just got back from our Hawaii cruise! Good luck
  11. Thankyou, yes always an inherited risk...I feel we will just stay to our sched as it will take to much juggling thanks for the input!
  12. Our day 1 at Lahaina is our Luau , 530 to 830ish, we cant switch to day 2 there, so if i switch this I have a few more to switch etc...is there a time these incidents occur more often or a day?
  13. Neeny, we avoid YYZ at all costs! 1st its one of the worst hubs/airports on the continent, and AC is awful, WJ is no better! We prefer to go to Buffalo or Detroit, cross the US border their and back and so much slicker! Then you are flying within the US - again so much smoother. We use Nexus too so we are pre cleared and skip the long lines at any airport, BUT sometimes in TO or Montreal they shut them down! Last year/May 2022 coming back from our Italy/Greece cruise, they re routed us thru Montreal then to TO, omg LMAO they are a joke, the customs agent in Canada, hardly spoke clear English to start, asked why we are flying back to London??? and highlighted our boarding pass to clear thru another area for Internationals, i had to explain to her, we are from London Ontario CANADA, and was on all our docs! And of course, they lost our bags! lol OH have fun!!! Enjoy your cruise!!
  14. interesting I need to look into this, if I can change as the Luau is Day 1 hence the Kaanapali Beach visit, thankyou
  15. Thankyou for the tidbits! Whalers Village seems like a spot to stop and head to the MonkeyPod, we will find a way to hit the water.. ;O)
  16. WOW a lot of info to digest here lol... Here is my Q - we are at the Lahaina Maui port this coming early May, 2 days, 1st day we would enjoy a few hours at Ka-anapali Beach - any public spots? perhaps a beach bar with loungers? then later that afternoon we will make our way to the Royal Lahaina Resort for the Myths of Maui Luau...then cab or uber back to ship, next day heading to Wailea area to a Resort Beach, then back to ship, it leaves at 9pm...Q2 - how long an uber ride and cost for this trip?? thanks
  17. ya pool i snice, beach is suppose to be nice, we are on a cruise, there March 23rd, you guys?? im in discussion with a guy on Eagle, I know 'a guy' lol, who has loungers and umbrellas, and we can use the beach bar next door for washrooms, shower, food, drinks...i need to confirm with 'the guy' lol on a few things still
  18. I second that Sara....im looking for a place too, might have something at Eagle beach
  19. is there swimming at the Ocean Oasis?? access to the water?
  20. We have enjoyed the Chefs Table twice, Loved both times! Loved the wine selections which was paired and food was great. You meet and chat it up with the group that sits with you. Still friends with a few of them. We did one BC on the Jewel and one AC on the Symph.
  21. Its funny, the English do their Cheese plate after Dinner, and us North Americans (Canadians) do it before. Notice how its in the classics? it use to be in the Desserts, uhmmmm I had a chat with the F&B Mgr ;O) Great trip, excellent pics! Like I shared earlier, we are on her (the Xplorer lol) in March 2nd voyage after her Re vamp.
