  1. Or after 6PM as long as you are not in public eating/drinking areas. I.e.. You can sit on the deck with a drink and watch the stars and not be "dressed".
  2. You can transfer any cruise....BUT, if it is after 30 days, the commission does not transfer with the booking. Also, you should know that if you are trying to arrange a custom land package through Regent's Custom Land Department that this department is HORRIBLE. They can take weeks to respond to an enquiry from the Regent Rep AND, to make it even worse, they will not speak to an outside person or TA....only a Regent Rep. The outside TA can book it - but they must go through a Regent Rep and the entire process takes months. I have done this before and I am about to start another as soon as we get within 365 days of the cruise.
  3. Book with a TA that has paid their own way on Regent and has substantially first-hand knowledge.
  4. Agree. I have found Regent crew to be exceptional and any issues I have with the cruise line are with Miami.
  5. Things are great on Explorer - it is a wonderful, fairly new ship. If you want to go on a Regent cruise, there is nothing with the ship that should dissuade you.
  6. Regent Seven Seas Cruises Marketing Contacts Contacts (5/13) Name Title State Andrea D. President FL Sample of Related Brands *********** Email: *****@*******.*** Main Phone: (954) 776-6123
  7. A. Agree. B. There is a difference between surrendering and choosing not to fight. C. The only way to hold Regent accountable is to call/write or spend your money elsewhere. I have, for some time, encouraged people to call Corporate. It is much harder to ignore a call than it is to ignore a letter.
  8. No argument from me - I agree. The entitled should get a very abrupt wake-up call.
  9. I can't reply directly without over-sharing but if Corporate wanted it done, it would be done.
  10. There is only a single reason. Regent staff on board ships have been told by corporate NOT to enforce this. Had they been told, to they would do so and looking the other way for a tip would result in immediate dismissal.
  11. There are 4 security officers on board. The question is not how to enforce but making the choice to enforce at all.
  12. Being able to afford the cruise doesn't make you special, it just means you can afford it...you have to earn respect by being a decent human being.
  13. Because Regent considers it a suggestion and they hope that the guests are civilized and will follow the "guidelines".
  14. Well, what can I say. They may be telling you it is policy but the ships' staff may be told to not enforce it. They are not mutually exclusive. I suspect this is a "suggestion" for the guests rather than something Regent considers a rule. The evidence is that they do not enforce it. Don't you really think Regent would be all over the GM's if Regent WANTED this enforced? The GM's are doing exactly what Regent wants done.
  15. I am 100% certain that Management on the ship enforces the rules they are told to enforce.
  16. They try to but there was a lot of availability in segments for 2024.
  17. As a counter-point, I can do mine in 5 minutes or less and then jam out my GF's survey for her. Never had an issue logging in and it is smooth as silk for me. I can't explain the difference in experiences.
  18. The 11 couples was not Regent.
  19. It can only be completed while onboard the ship...unfortunately.
  20. Yessir - this is standard when there is a waitlist on a cruise. Regent will make an offer to existing booked guests on a future cruise in order to pickup a new sale while retaining the current guest on the future cruise with slightly less profit. I've not seen an example as large as you mention and can only guess that there was an accommodation being made for a special group of guests.
  21. You are saving me a ton of money by posting these pics - very grateful!!!
  22. No worries - To the best of my knowledge, Regent has never bumped anyone since I cruised for the first time with Regent in late 2015.
  23. I am a "he"...and do you KNOW of someone it has happened to?
  24. Depends on the TA and the customer. I have one client who spends 7 figures a year - I do whatever they want.
