@Ozark_KidJohn, I follow those in here who have said exactly what I want to say. Just a few more words: May Sharon and your sweet grandkids continue to uplift your spirits. Oh that Kenzie!
We care and love you. Keep those dad jokes coming as well as any updates you feel like sharing.

My best wishes to you and your lovely family
@Ozark_Kid Dear John, I want to echo Bonnie and Sue's replies. The thoughts I feel were expressed so well by them. I will continue to keep you and your family in my prayers. 🙏🏼

Agreed. I went to their website and looked at some of their cruises. Very reasonable. We will strongly look at cruising with them in the future.
I think @George C was also going to look at them. 😊
He and his DW could combine an Oceania sail with one of their trips back to New York. 😊

We watch every Saturday too. Love the musical guests. We did watch the piece on Oceana and their chef. Both Linda and I said wow that food looks amazing. We might need to consider them in the future. I’m sure it’s not cheap.
@Sea Dog I think you might be pleasantly surprised by their fares, Greg! I know we were.
I think it was "Schooner" who mentioned booking with Oceania back in the fall. We looked into it in December and found that Oceania was still having the promotion with 2 for1 fares. Considering all the included perks, it really is a great deal. The NYC departure is perfect for us since we live in New England. We can choose to drive, fly, take the train, or use a limo service. You should call/text your TA. 😉

We watch cbs morning show every Saturday, one of the things we like is they show restaurants around the world and lots in New York City, todays show featured Oceana cruises , all the food looked outstanding, lots of caviar , they also said there French restaurants have a French chef , Italian has a Italian chef etc , might need to take a serious look at them.
@George C Thanks for mentioning this, George! 😀 I was able to pull up the show "on demand" and watch the segment. 🥳 Now my DH and I are even more excited about our first cruise with Oceania on the Insignia in July 2025.

Happy fourth anniversary to us. Once again thank you Dani for a safe and happy place for us all to come!❤️
+1 @dani negreanu & friends
Since the traditional gift for a 4th year anniversary is fruit or flowers...
I chose a couple of cards with flowers for us. 💞
Happy 4th Anniversary to us along with wishes for many more years of caring and sharing!

Deb, the 1st 4 days were super painful but luckily that's in the past. I feel so much better, Doc advised to take it easy for at least another 2 weeks to allow everything to heal internally. Thanks for asking.
So glad that the super painful days are in your past!
Hoping that you continue to heal as quickly as possible!
❤️ Sue

DH & I are having a little getaway to Seal Rocks (approx 3 1/2hrs north of Sydney). Max is being spoilt again by our housesitters. We are staying at the lighthouse keepers cottage at Sugarloaf Point Lighthouse. The weather is beautiful, the cottage is spacious and has views from every angle and having a working lighthouse up close from your backyard is pretty cool.
WOW! What an awesome setting and accommodations for your vacation!!
Enjoy your getaway and thank you for sharing your photos with us.

Oh dear, Marietta, so sorry 😢 that your friend passed and that Charlie is still not feeling well. Hugs (((💔))) and prayers🙏 for you and Charlie.

Wow! What a great view from your Lake View Deck! (Or your LVD)
With 80° temps and a view like that, it looks like you’re on vacation!
You even included the obligatory shot of your “vacation feet.” 😎- 6

Speaking of which....
Spent a few enjoyable hours with my HS friends.
We were supposed to meet a day after the war started... So glad that, after more than 4 months, everyone is OK and younger family members are back from reserve duty. Hoping against hope for even a temporary cease fire in the next week or two.
So happy to see you and your dear friends back together again and enjoying each other’s company.😊
I am also hoping that a cease fire will be accomplished soon. In the meantime and as always, you and your family and friends will remain in my thoughts and prayers. 🙏

Dear Dani, so sad 🥲 to read that on top of your having to endure the stress from the war, you now have the worries about your BFF, Alex. 🙏 I hope and pray that his rehabilitation will be successful. 💞 Hugs for you.

Stork Update: DIL1 delivered baby at 6:56AM. 2/18/2024 5lb6oz. It was a quick & speedy delivery. He was very eager to enter the world. Thank God, he and his mommy are doing well. Doctors are keeping an eye on mommy to make sure everything is stable. We will go see them in a week or so. Now we wait for DS2’s turn who is due in April.
Congratulations to you and your son and DIL1! 🤗
Pleased to hear that mom and baby are doing well.

@dani negreanu Please rest assured that nothing you could share about the horrors you are experiencing would be considered “party pooping.” This is the thread YOU started. We all have shared highs and lows of our lives. You were so kind to me when I was worried about Minnie’s surgery…reassuring me that it wasn’t silly for me to love a cat so much. When you post, whether cheerful or sad, we are all so relieved to hear from you! Since there is nothing other than prayers we have to help you, please allow us the opportunity to share in your joys and your sorrows.

Just to repeat what others have said, you are not a "party pooper" so please, please, please do not limit your speaking of your "tale". We care and are concerned for you and want to know what it going on in your life, the good, the bad and the ugly. So share as much as you'd like. I'm always glad to see a post from you, no matter the subject.
