Hello! We are looking into cruises next Summer (July/August 2024) and contemplating an Alaska cruise as we've never done it before. We have been on Caribbean cruises plenty of times on RCL and the kids have loved it. I'm wondering what your thoughts are if we are to take them to Alaska? Would they be bored? What have your experience been like with kids 9 and 11? Also, since we are from Toronto, we'll need to make our way to Vancouver or Seattle. Vancouver would be the smaller Radiance class whereas Seattle is the Ovation/Quantum class. We have only done Oasis and Quantum classes in the past so not sure how a smaller ship will be (in terms of kids entertainment). What have you done in the past and what do you recommend? TIA!

Sorry to start this thread as the answer is probably in one of threads but I tried searching to no avail. We are cruising out of Cape Liberty in January and will be flying into EWR the day before. We will stay at a hotel close to the airport so airport shuttle should be included. I'm seeking transportation options for: 1) hotel to cruise port on cruise day 2) on disembarkation, cruise port straight to EWR airport to catch a 1:30pm flight There will be 3 adults + 2 kids. TIA!

We did this a few years ago. Stayed at Best Western Newark and parked our car at the hotel for the duration of the cruise (took a shuttle to/from the hotel and port).

In previous cruises we gave the room steward cash (not in the envelope) on the last day of the cruise. On our recent cruise we tipped half way and at the end. Another family we travelled with tipped daily. There is no right or wrong to tip/not tip/tip frequency....

I'm assuming the Thrill Waterpark passes can be cancelled before 48 hours correct? About to pull the trigger but want to doublecheck.
