    Island Tours

WIll be our first time there in December. We usually get off and find a tour with a local near the taxi stand at the port, is this available at this port as well? If they do this at the port what is the going rate per person for a round trip tour?
  2. A decent beer I could understand paying more for. Im talking about Miller lite, 12 oz can for $8.84, something I can buy 30 of at the local grocery store for $19.94
  3. $7.49 plus gratuities for a total of $8.84 for 12 ozs. Pre covid it was much cheaper for a 16oz.
  4. What is going on with the bar prices on RC these days? Just got off our first post covid cruise on RC, a 5 day Adventure of the Seas cruise and we were shocked at what they are charging these days. A Miller Lite, used to be about to $6 with gratuities for a 16 oz bottle, last week it was $8.84 for a 12 oz can. $11.50 for a Captain and Coke? For the price of 3 beers on board I have paid for a 30 pack in my local grocery store plus some snacks and a fe cokes to mix with the Captain. I know they took a hit during covid, but these prices are over the top gouging to make up losses and turned us off of RC. We will be looking elsewhere for our next cruise. MSC comes out in the lead so far in pricing, RC should take notice of what others are doing.
  5. Thanks, That site looks like its the best option for us. Can use the tests we have and do it at home.
  6. we are cruising on Saturday and need testing. Its just odd that the pcr and rapid are both 2 days for Bermuda but all other places that require testing are 3 days for pcr and 2 for rapid. There are no rapid tests near us anymore and too late to get the home test.
  7. Thats what I read and is confusing, the vaccinated test times dont go along with the official Bermuda protocols and are different from all other locations as well. Usually pcr is allowed farther out than rapid.
  8. What are the testing requirements for pre cruise? Bermuda website says 4 days before departure for PCR 2 for rapid. RC website says 2 days for both. The 2 days is cutting it close since it always takes us 3 days to get PCR results from CVS and no rapid testing is near us.
  9. What are the testing requirements for pre cruise? Bermuda website says 4 days before departure for PCR. RC website says 2 days. The 2 days is cutting it close since it always takes us 3 days to get results from CVS.
  10. Leave on Sat, too bad no changes before then. Free testing is a pain to find locally for us. The 40 fee for the TA I am sure will stick around, nothing else just add the 40 into the port fees we pay so they still get the money they have become used to.
  11. Every cruise port I have been to has an office in the port area where you can get a stamp.
  12. Where are people getting their rapid tests done these days? Not a single CVS or Walgreens anywhere near us are doing them anymore. We are going to Bermuda next month and they say that we need to PCR 4 days before but Royal website says 2 days. Given our PCR testing background with CVS and them being late with results all the time we arent too optimistic that we will get our results on time to sail.
  13. I just wish they would actually cook the bacon. Bacon is supposed to be crisp, not that soggy mess they try and pass off as cooked bacon.
  14. with all the choices of drinks on the boat, why in the hell would White Claw or Truly even come up as one of the first choices to order?
  15. if nobody sits there for 15 minutes then the seats are fair game, put your stuff down, return the towels as yours and you are ahead of the game.
