  1. Just because you have never heard of it doesn't mean it's not possible.
  2. I agree, it's pretty much the same. As I said, it doesn't bother me.
  3. What about it?
  4. I would guess that towels and sheets could be washed together, with cloth napkins washed separately, but I really don't know.
  5. Be aware that your clothes are washed with other people's clothes (each in their own mesh bag). That doesn't bother me, but it does bother some people. Just letting you know.
  6. Agreed. You could easily spend days in Pompeii. It's fascinating.
  7. I haven't done it in a very long time, so I'm not sure what the rules are now. At the time, I think it was just the 18% gratuity.
  8. Yes they do. You can have room service deliver drinks to your cabin. Not ideal, but they will do it.
  9. That's correct, the ship isn't required to wait, even for ship-sponsored shore excursions. The wording is something like, "guaranteed return to ship", which could be at a later port (or not at all, if it was the last port).
  10. Same here. I always look for the best value and for me right now, that is not RC.
  11. I'm thinking the same thing. Royal never seems to get the closer dock at Cozumel. It seems unlikely that it is because they didn't book first every single time.
  12. No it doesn't. See post #50.
  13. I have also noticed things like this on some of their older ships.
  14. If only it were actually soft serve ice cream instead of frozen dessert product.
  15. Do they not allow you to drop off the luggage at the port then drive to the parking lot?
  16. Aren't those frozen? That could present a problem.
  17. And their trucks may have been pointed in the opposite direction.
  18. I'm thinking the same thing. One of them could have gotten sick, somebody could have been injured, they could have been involved in an accident, they could have been victims of a crime. I agree that it was most likely their fault, but since none of us knows the facts, we really can't be sure.
  19. So you're saying that the police were at the construction site then went to the ends of the bridge to stop traffic? This doesn't align with the story that a police officer was about to drive onto the bridge to warn the construction workers. If the police were at the construction site, it seems like they would have warned the construction workers first.
  20. I wondered this too. They may have taken an RC excursion that ended hours before the ship's scheduled departure, or they may have taken no excursion.
  21. Also when they leave affects when they can open the shops and the casino onboard.
