That’s not my experience. The hand-wash is a great addition but some people still walk straight by without using it. I’d love to see the staff at the door given a taser for those people who believe their time is more valuable than everyone’s health.

Expect to pay more for less than before and you won’t be disappointed.

Purchase on a port day that you’re not interested in or better again a port day which docks later in the day. It’s much cheaper.

Do you mean connecting rooms or available connecting rooms? The latter is much more difficult I find.

I was trying this for our upcoming Odyssey trip. From our stateroom there is a change of category before you get to a connecting balcony. Does the logic still hold true?

I think you might be overestimating the number of people in Europe who follow the NBA that closely and RCs flexibly when it comes to their schedules.

Can you have a WOW band and a regular sea pass card? I can see a use for the band when at the pool or slides and the card the rest of the time.

😊 that’s ok. If they don’t understand time zones they have no hope of getting to the departure port, so checking in doesn’t matter to them.

All they need to is say exactly when it opens e.g. June 11 at 12pm GMT. No confusion.

This comes back to the incompetence of RC IT. No credible customer facing facility would present different information, depending on the way you access it.

I don’t see that. I can see welcome aboard but in there is generic info. The calendar icon on the top of the screen (middle of the three icons) has a view which shows where the sailing is each day but not time of arrival and departure.

I haven’t got personal experience of this but read it here or elsewhere. On the morning of your booking you go to the pool bar to claim your preferred casita. Some people reported being there before the bar opened to maximise the possibility of getting their preferred location. Others cautioned that royal genies can have specific casitas booked ahead of this, so even being first there may not be enough.

If family ocean view = ultra spacious ocean view, then I don’t think they’re on Odyssey. There’s a handful of that category on Oasis class and independence class so it could be difficult bagging two of them. We’ve used them before and they’re a very good option for families although there are also the same room with a balcony on Oasis class which we love.

I just want to make sure I got this right? People are willing to spend $1000 to sit on the rising tides bar for a few hours and watch a balloon drop? If so, I’m buying RC stock. Or building my own ship.
