We have booked the 11 night cruise for July 2025. They haven't released where we fly to initially yet. Where did you fly from the states to?

That’s good to know since tonight I see one that we booked is now not included. I left it alone. The tour that is waitlisted and full is only 1 of 3 offered. The other two do not sound like something we want to do. I may book something on Viator or the like and cancel if the one we booked opens up. you have all been helpful

Did you have to pay for the second one? Ours shows prices by the included ones now.

We are on a cruise more than a year away. One of our included excursions is waitlisted and we are on that list, but I noticed this weekend that it now says full. It still says we are waitlisted. How long should I wait before choosing another? Seems like we have a long time to wait, but I booked my excursions 16 months out and one was full and now this one.

Originally the Oct 11 cruise was from Trieste to Barcelona. That was canceled and when they changed the re-fit they changed the cruise ports.

I promised to how it went so Our ride andy experience went very smoothly. They sent an email with all of the drivers’ information including a picture. He was waiting for us as we exited customs. He drove a Mercedes E class which was fairly new and very comfortable. There were water bottles for us and a pleasant drive of just under an hour. We have zero complaints. I would definitely use them again. Oh, he was Victor by the way.

We did this cruise last February. What alithecat said is exactly what we experienced, however, be sure to keep checking your booking. At one point our post hotel disappeared. TA said that we didn’t get one even though all our documents said we did. It was a bit messy and they added it again, but I wouldn’t have know they took it away unless I kept checking. We were put at the Hilton Garden Inn for a midnight flight.

We will be on the Marina for our first Oceania cruise next month. Like you we are trying Oceania because of the cruise only fares. So, this may be a one and done for us as we like independent tours and I don’t drink much. I’m hoping they will change the policy back to where you have a choice, but for now we are looking elsewhere. It’s a shame as we had chosen a cruise to book on board before this change. We have now booked it on Silversea. If I have to pay for all inclusive I want the luxury to go with it.

I think we are on the same cruise. This is also our first time with Oceania. It was indeed a frenzy. My husband is a type 1 diabetic and needs to eat earlier than 8:30-9:00. That was pretty much all that was available for 2. I chose the sharing as I’m not opposed to it. We will have three nights at 7-7:30 sharing and one night at 7 for two. I know it will be fine. Some of my best friends have been made back in the day where everyone shared. I will take the above advice and keep checking however. We are also in a B3 extended balcony.

Our ship allows us to bring wine on board. We will embark in Tarragona and be spending a couple days there. Where is a good place to buy wine etc.? TIA

Our TA recommended ride andy dot com. It was 134€ going from BCN to our hotel. We were just in Barcelona last year so decided to stay a couple nights in Tarragona. It looks like a great place to spend some time.

We depart 9/29/2023 and it was changed to Tarragona. No direct trains from the airport as of now. We decided to hire a private car. It costs more, but after all night of flying, it will be much easier with luggage.

I booked mine for this October last November. They all booked up very quickly. I’d check now and keep checking.

No I booked it last year for our cruise this September. It’s all good now. Waitlist has been removed.

I booked a cooking class on the Marina for our Med cruise this fall. I booked and paid for it on November 12, 2022 and promptly received an email confirmation. Online now it shows us waitlisted. Does this mean we are waitlisted or that the class is now waitlisted? I will call them tomorrow, but thought someone may have experience with this. This is our first Oceania cruise. Thanks!

We are on Marina Sept 29. Hopefully it will magically turn on on the 1st? LOL

We will be on the Marina end of September and have 7108. I’m not so concerned about the chair situation as I can sit anywhere, but happy to see that the cabin is such a “horrible” one to have! This will finally be our first Oceania cruise. They canceled 2 we had booked AFTER Covid!!

I am on the same cruise I think. I checked the website for who’s in port and it shows anchoring in Positano. I’ve always heard Amalfi and it’s listed as Amalfi/Positano so still confused.

It is brutal, however, UA has no business class either.

We are booked in February. Last night I looked at AA for our flight booking just to see if it had been ticketed yet. It has not, but the return flight has and in a big way. It is now taking 26hours to get to Denver! It was 16 hours. My Silversea still has the old booking listed. There is no other viable solution for a change as the tickets have not been issued and business class is sold out for all other combinations. Oh, well, it is what it is at this point. I am not happy, but…. My question is about the day room on the way back. I spoke with our agent this morning and asked about it and she said there is no day room listed on our booking. We booked the air with SS, the whole door to door thing. Our original agent told us we get the overnight room in Santiago and the day room upon return. The new agent sent an inquiry to the hotel department to ask them. Am I wrong in assuming we are supposed to have one? We are now leaving at 1am. I will book one if I have to, but I think we should be getting one from SS. It is really difficult to get excited about this trip when issues keep popping up. We are experienced enough to know that it will be great in the end, but the stress of just getting somewhere and back now is really hard to get used to.

I purchased these as well for my backup pair of gloves. I put them on and stuck my hands under the faucet and they seemed to be water tight. Like I said, they are the backup pair.

We booked this when it first came out. About three weeks later our TA sent us the email he got which said the refit had been scheduled to start during our cruise and that we had been automatically rebooked on the previous cruise. After reading these posts, I looked on their website. There is a cruise on the 11th now, but the itinerary isn’t the same, BUT, the map show what we had booked. It worked out well enough for us as we got 2 extra days, same cabin, and same price. My main concern is that we have booked two Oceania cruises in the last year, and both have been canceled. We have never sailed with Oceania, and although both cancellations were handled well, it’s hard to trust reserving something that never comes to fruition.
