Which ship? S class that have CM have a separate room and M class is is a walk thru area. I don’t see a problem opening the curtains, it can be very dark 😆

We booked Aqua guarantee (XA?) and the were assigned an Aqua SS. A suite guarantee was 2 times the price. Have done Move Up previously, but not this time 😃

We’re on deck 11 for the PC cruise, our favorite cabin is 1140 but sadly no aft were available when we booked. Luckily they don't play movies really late or early morning 😊

I do see one A1 for the Panama Canal cruise 😊 We chose our cabin for this cruise but did a guarantee for the 6 day cruise to LA. Surprisingly we were upgraded but just got our cabin assigned 2 days ago.

We booked an Aqua class guarantee and surprisingly we were assigned an Aqua SS 😁 This was not a move up. So I’m wondering if will we get the points for a SS and the other suite perks. I’m thinking not but perhaps someone has had this experience. And yes, I have reached out to my TA but they are closed for the day.

If you are picky about your iced tea, ask for hot water, 2 bags and a large glass of ice. The stuff they serve is definitely not brewed.

Her replies to many questions, with marketing lingo and no substance were imo disrespectful. Why even bother. That is not a good way to “treat” the people who fill the ships and in turn pay her salary. I haven’t read all of the Q&A but it appears most of the comments from CC members have been courteous .

Hiding ducks wasn't much of a Celebrity thing until a year or so ago. I usually join another social media group for our cruise in addition to the CC roll call and get so annoyed when, once the cruise starts a few people constantly post duck pictures. They are cure to see but I just don't get it 😆

I am thinking about the pressure to give 10s in the post cruise survey. Perhaps mentioning to the F&B manager that all scores relating to their department will be sup par if this continues will prompt action? Of course, I wouldn’t punish my favorite servers and bar staff by doing this but makes me think next cruise this definitely will be mentioned in my survey. I will not order a Cadillac margarita without watching them make it, too often even when standing there they reach for the below the bar tortilla brand tequila 😣

I was really hoping for more on the answer to this question. We have a MC SS booked for a TP in 2025. A potentially different veranda chair with no way to put my feet up is not acceptable.

A year or so ago, on EC in Cellar Masters they did not have a full bar. If they aren’t busy the “sommelier” working there may offer to go get one for you but I have never asked. If we are meeting friends there I just go to the martini bar and get my own!

On S class it was in the small private room at Murano both times.

We have done it twice, on different sailings but same ship. Pretty sure it was Solstice, could have been Equinox.

Your outfit sounds perfectly acceptable! We know Nia from several cruises on Eclipse in The MDR. She was very good at discreetly enforcing the dress code. We found on our 6 day Edge from Vancouver, a few men in tank tops at lunch and shorts and baseball caps at dinner. She said that many suite guests have the attitude of they’ll wear what they want because they paid a lot for the retreat (that is my paraphrasing, she was much more diplomatic). There will be no immigration at Pier 91. Are you planning to use luggage valet? If so, you can generally be curbside 5-10 minutes after walking off the ship. If not allow time to collect suitcases. Your driver will not be able to pull up and wait for you (there is a designated area where those who obey the rules will wait until you text them) It took our driver 15+ minutes to get to us so don't wait until you are in the terminal to text 😆

There is a small library behind a cabinet in guest relations. Just ask! i managed to find 2 books.

Port Valet is also available for Edge sailings this summer. Walk right thru the terminal and to your transportation to the airport.

Happy late or early Anniversary! I Look forward to hearing how you like your MC SS, we have one booked in 2025. A couple things we learned in Luminae on Edge. The very front little room tends to be warm, we sat there day 1 lunch and didn't like it, after eating we made a lap so we could request a section in the future! The front 1/3 temp was good for us temp wise and a bit quieter. The back half got warmer and louder and smelled like food! Say hello to Nia (the hostess) from Danna and Bruce! Enjoy

Last week on Edge we filled in a form with crew names and position. When I turned it in to guest relations, the rep had me verify the picture of each person while she wrote down their ID number. She said the amount would go on the salary card. One of the individuals confirmed she will get the $ as long as the ID number is used.

We were also on Summit and now Edge. Quite a difference. Edge has a very shopping mall feel on deck 4 & 5. I attribute some of that to the cold days and everyone being indoors. Beautiful ship but some areas are louder and more crowded than I expected.

I would contact special needs department? Sorry on a ship and don’t have the info handy. Do you live in Folsom? We’re in EDH!
