We're cruising with my parents and just noticed we are booked in a deluxe balcony (husband's casino offer) and they are in a regular (18 cabins away). I see that we have a small couch in our stateroom and they do not. My Dad spends more time in the room than any of us because he rests more and likes to read in there. I'd like them to take our cabin. Can we simply speak with our room stewards to make the switch on ship, or is there something official I need to do?

I didn't intend on starting a smoking debate. I was mainly curious to know, from other smokers who have cruised on Sky Princess, where available areas are particularly on embarkation and debarkation days. But, thank you all for your input.

My hubby is also a smoker. We're considering Escape for January. Just wondering about embarkation and debarkation days? Any issues with finding a place to smoke while the ship is refueling?
