  1. In order to build your confidence, you can pick a random cruise the departs much earlier and test it by getting a flight quote.
  2. I just departed my cruise on Saturday, so my assessment must be on the new ones. Never cared for the previous ones, either. Did not negatively affect my cruise as I had plenty of great food.

  6. Since there are various amounts bid for the cabin that is vacated, it has to be a complicated process. At least most people get the opportunity to participate (if their TA allows it). Not really transparent, but certainly more transparent than the previous system before bidding was implemented.
  7. Does the AP show that you have the Premier package? Did you put in your credit card info and see if the reservation says 0 due as the total? some people have been having issues for some unknown reasons, but many of us have been able to make reservation in advance without paying. Goof luck.
  8. I suggest you factor in the weather/season when your decision. We did a repositioning cruise from Hawaii to Sydney on a different cruise line in October. Therefore the weather was cooler has we cruised to New Zealand.

  10. I suggest you book as soon as you board. Princess does not prebook all available spots in advance. The speciality restaurants on the 4/6 Enchanted cruise were very busy.
  11. I use the same strategy. Fortunately for me if I book direct, I do not pay a penalty.

If you log into Princess.com/manage reservations/luggage tag and print summary do you see it listed with any of your other package benefit. if you search in here, you should be able to find a thread discussing about the change.   13. Bad news. The 360 experience is no longer free for those booked in a suite after December 1, 2022. It was an absolutely amazing experience that I highly recommend.
  14. I am currently on the Princess Enchanted. I did not receive an invite, since I was curious (for next time), I ask the Suite Concierge who gets invited. He said it was a random selection process. Earlier someone mention that they were able to call their PVP and get invited, which seems to contradict what the Concierge said.

  17. You had already paid your $80 a day for the Premier package and they did not give you a refund for the package, correct? So you had $856 in gift cards that you applied to your account and created $858 refundable OBC. I wonder if they put the Gift Card money back on your Gift Cards? I just thought someone might be misunderstanding the “retail value” of the Premier package that are listed. what a mess. Good luck.

These are not items that reflect something that is owed you. These is just a reflection of the retail value of some of the items in the Plus. They are not OBC (refundable or otherwise) and no value is returned to you if not used. You should have paid the $80 a day per person when you made your final payment.

  20. I cruise frequently on both Celebrity and Princess, I think you made the right decision. I would even say if you are sailing without a package, you will find Princess less expensive for most if not all individual items. (And the cruise itself). You can even save money as you do not need to use the Ocean Now on Princess. I have it in my package and I do not use it. Give it a try. Although both companies are very focused on packages, it is not important to you. Princess’s would be significant less expensive and prove more value. Good luck.
  21. I was giving you details about my success. I really do not know why some people have an issue booking the Premium included Speciality restaurant reservations and others do not. It would not be unreasonable for Princess to want one to pay for their Premier package (with final payment) before making a no charge booking. We usually stay in a suite and I have read reports that some people are able to make the embarkation speciality dining reservation without paying. I have never been successful. I have also booked it after boarding and I have never had any problem getting the place and time that I wanted. Does your AP show that you have the premier package?
  22. Thanks. I am too relaxed. I meant to ask if you can see the MDR menu for the days in the future. I just see the current day.
  23. Ordered mine with a form at GS using the form at around 6 PM. They were delivered by noon on the next day.
  24. I am current in board. Should I be able to see the MDR for the length of my cruise? I only see the current day. Sometimes I get cruise lines mixed up. Is this possible on Princess? Thank you.
