  1. Chase Sapphire Reserve covers if your trip is cancelled or cut short by sickness, severe weather and other covered situations, you can be reimbursed up to $10,000 per person and $20,000 per trip for your pre-paid, non-refundable travel expenses, including passenger fares, tours, and hotels. The card is not cheap 450.00 per year but you get a 300.00 travel credit so the real cost is 150.00 per year.
  2. We never used my balcony as much as we did in Alaska. Get a blanket from your steward and ENJOY the views.
  3. Just did this on Equinox last week. The show was sort of fun - the food - NOT great. I would not do it again. One and done for sure for us.
  4. Thanks so much for the feedback. I had pretty much come to this conclusion but it is great to get some feedback from others who have done it.
  5. Hello, We have signed up for a 4 day land tour with Celebrity prior to our 7 day cruise in Aug 2021. The cost for the land portion is about 1,000.00 per day and does not include food. I am wondering if we should just do this on our own. Has anyone had any experience with doing this with the cruise company? The only advantage I see is having a tour guide as part of the package. I would love to hear some other opinions on the pros and cons of doing this with the land package offered by Celebrity. Thanks in advance!! The offered itinerary is this Day 1 Anchorage Day 2 Anchorage -> Denali Day 3 Denali -> Talkeetna Day 4 Talkeetna -> Seward
  6. We just got off the Equinox yesterday and this was the policy on that ship. Two free movies - seems they cannot make up their minds.
  7. Has anyone done this tour from Celebrity? We are on the Equinox in two weeks and we have quite a few OBC so we would like to book something on the ship. I have tried googling, searching trip advisor and I am not finding any exact matches on this and I would love to know if someone has done this excursion and how they liked it. I appreciate it in advance! Kim Drzymala
  8. Your post prompted me to check the prices for our Med cruise for Aug 2020 and I was able to upgrade from a Sky Suite to a Celebrity Suite AND save 700.00 and get 300.00 additional OBC. Feeling like I won the lottery today!
  9. Loving your trip report we have a couple of days in Vancouver prior to our cruise and I appreciate the information you provided. 14. We stayed in 6131 in January and loved the cabin. No noise but so close to everything. Loved the oversize balcony.
