Maine's Bar Harbor is allowing cruise calls for the 2024 season that were booked before the November 2022 citizens' vote implementing a 1,000-person/day landing cap. But 2025 will see a big reduction. I wonder when NCL booked with the Town of Bar Harbor? Bar Harbor lets most 2024 cruise calls stand, 2025 will see reduction (seatrade-cruise.com)

Indeed. I remarked to the spouse on our recent Getaway cruise that we are no longer the target demographic... especially after the viewing the prime-time couples show in the atrium. The specific bit where the male used the kitchen ladle and the female used the frying pan was kind of shocking.

There is now something in the NCL app about making reservations. The email we received from NCL recently for a cruise next week was rather vague and we don't use the app.

I don't understand how they (1) can find smart enough participants, and (2) will stop the open-bar over- indulged smart guy from sharing his intelligence and shouting out the answer..

We've had rooms near the elevators in the past and found that they are fine during "normal" cruises during the year... but during school vacations / multi-generational type cruises rooms near the elevators were brutal. Kids running to the elevators... thump.. thump.. thump... mini family reunions at 2:00 am at the elevator lobby, etc.

I think the OP needs to go back to the Travel agent and say "you booked me using some half-@zzed code and you need to need to make it right by coughing up $100...

I don't think typical cruisers (including me) will be able to solve many of the phrases under the bright lights unless they are painfully easy. "Look there's the guy who didn't know..."

Or NCL just plain forgot to program it for this deviated itinerary.

We did this excursion in February 2023 with a double quad and the passenger used a back pack for towels and water. There is a smallish area under the seat but it wouldn't fit our backpack. It would probably fit a few towels, water and sunscreen. We also did this tour ten years ago and there was riding / stops / riding / stops / etc. This past February there was more consistent riding, and an extended stop at Maho beach for about 35 - 45 min. Then again, we had a participant who was unable to drive the quad and after a few fits and starts the leader took her on as a passenger... this slowed us down quite a bit in the beginning. I would do the excursion again.

Do you recall what afternoon / day the Latitude party is?
