We are Diamond on NCL and for some reason I thought we didn't have to select a boarding time. Had some difficulty getting photos uploaded but now have our cruise documents and it shows time selected to arrive at Pier 2:30pm - 3:00 pm. For boarding process it says Boarding begins at 12:00 pm. Departure time is 7:00 pm It also says Please note the time you have selected to arrive at the pier. Guest arriving to the pier before your select arrival time will be asked to come back at the appropriate time. Has anyone boarded POA recently who can verify if the Honolulu port sticks to the "selected arrival time" and denies entrance until that time. If they're strict we'll ask hotel to hold our luggage and hang out for a while. Thank you Karen

aft facing balcony??? do not book one on deck 8 as they are above Bliss lounge ..... noisy aft facing deck 10 balconies are deep enough for loungers and chairs there are some YouTube videos We did a very port intensive cruise on the Star in April ... even though ship doesn't have an observation lounge or great outdoors she was perfect for that type of cruise

don't know when you're thinking about cruising but the Norwegian Dawn has a great itinerary April 22, 2025 and it is priced reasonably

We always take a bottle of Rugby Travel Sickness, 100 Tablets currently $6.41 on Amazon. Meclizine HCl 25 mg Without medication I can get sick standing on a dock and in all our cruises have never been seasick when using these. One tablet in the morning and I'm good. Also use these when flying, riding in back seat of car or seated anywhere on bus or van.

mking8288 if you're still on line you might want to edit your post to show stateroom upgrade using 60,000 points from Inside to Balcony .... rather than from OV. Question on your diamond upgrade on other stateroom .... were you within one year of award? We haven't used our diamond upgrades and don't know if we've lost them.

lol me too Last year they gave me 10% off coupon (not the latitude sailing) but it was for same time period we were already booked on an NCL cruise. Had to look at that stupid coupon until expiration date arrived. We do have the Bliss latitude coupon this year. We love the Bliss but our upcoming Spirit cruise has 5 days in Alaska and there is so much more of the world to see. If it gets really cheap, maybe .......

Sorry ..... we did the very long tender day into Venice on our Star cruise in April. There is separate thread about it so won't go into it here. We flew into Venice two days early and then took the train to Trieste morning of the cruise. We dearly loved Venice and want to go back. It figures that on NCL website the itinerary for this cruise is still being sold as the original itinerary..... no pop up saying itinerary has been changed.

Question on how the one time price drop FCC works. I just received email from NCL advising they've granted us each $300 FCC after completion of our upcoming Hawaii to Alaska cruise on the Spirit. Took less than a week to receive response so I was pleased 🙂 Once the Spirit cruise is completed and the credit is actually on our accounts how does it show up when it is applied to a cruise? Is the cruise fare on the invoice reduced by the FCC or does it show as a payment towards total price of cruise. I'm hoping it's the latter. Thank you.

Travelling with Infants: At least six (6) months of age on the day of boarding At least twelve (12) months of age on the day of boarding if your cruise has 3 or more consecutive days at sea. Travelling with Minors and Young Adults: Norwegian Cruise Line's policy dictates that a minor or young adult under the age of 21 must be accompanied in the same stateroom (or a connecting/adjoining stateroom) by a guest 21 years of age or older at the time of boarding. Minors – an individual under the age of 18 on the day of embarkation/boarding. Young Adult– an individual between the ages of 18 and 20. Note: Two people under the age of 21 may travel together in the same stateroom if they are a married couple and provide proof of marriage to a Norwegian Cruise Line representative at the pier prior to boarding. ............... and as mskaufman said people often book a parent and a child in one room and parent in child in another room for booking purposes

Also see this thread I did erroneously say we went down the Grand Canal when I should have said Giudecca Canal but it was still wonderful 🙂 I am very glad we booked the ship excursion to Murano / Burano because we were among the first off the ship. We chose that excursion because we spent two nights in Venice before taking the train to Trieste day of the cruise. I love Venice and want to go back!

Funny thing .... I'm filling out the Shareholder Benefit Request Form for our upcoming Spirit cruise ($250). Under Name it shows "Owner of the 100 shares will receive the onboard credit". However on every single NCL cruise where I've submitted the form and backup paperwork showing I own the NCLH shares the OBC is split between my dh and myself. Not a problem for us as very long time married but if they're going to split the OBC anyway why put that wording on the request form?

Stef (Sean & Stef), Ben & David and ParoDeeJay all posted a variety of videos. We're on the Honolulu to Alaska cruise this year so have really enjoyed watching them.

Thanks to all. Our PCC had no problem booking me two Onda reservations, I had him make one Onda reservation, then Teppanyaki, then another Onda and told him I'd take it from there. Have now booked one Le Bistro and one Cagney's and can't quite decide on the sixth specialty meal. I keep going back and forth between the two menus .... may let Larry choose. Has anyone tried going in to Cagney's not using a package promo or latitude perk and ordering an appetizer, soup or salad and maybe a dessert (no main)? That would make decision much easier 🙂

It has been a lot of years since we've been on the Spirit and it was just a 7 nighter. We'll be on her for 16 nights in April and I'm curious about entertainment in the Stardust Theater. The only entertainment listed on NCL website is Blazing Boots, Elements and Deal or No Deal (not sure where that is held). I'm hopeful NCL will have the usual musical entertainment elsewhere on the ship because we love to drop into a bar, have a drink and enjoy the music. For the main theater I'm guessing they will have guest entertainers (singer / singers, magician etc). For those of you that have been on longer cruises on the Spirit was there one or two shows per night in the Stardust Theater? Some nights was there no entertainment there? What time (or times) was showtime ? Getting ready to make dinner reservations as we like to eat early and some times are already gone. We have our two latitude dinners, two F@S plus an additional two F&S prepurchased for reduced price so six specialty nights. Unfortunately it shows Onda not available to book. Thanks so much.

All of the Spirit videos I've watched show the same electrical outlet set up as shown in above video except for penthouse suite that has european plug outlets on either side of the bed. The regular charging setup has two european outlets, one US outlet and 2 USB ports. I love that there are also USB ports on either side of the bed. There are a bazillion balconies available on the April 22 2024 cruise but cord would still have to be run across the floor. We unplug cord from outlet in the morning and stick cord under bed and then just replug at night when CPAP is needed.
