Hotel recommendation for Rome is Hotel Delle Nazioni. We stayed here for 8 nights before our TA cruise in 2022. It was a great location, just a 1 minute walk from Trevi Fountain. The complimentary breakfast buffet was very good. We’d stay there again. -

The temperature in Rome was pleasant enough that we didn’t have a need for air conditioning. Sorry but I can’t comment on the air conditioning.

We stayed at Hotel Delle Nazioni in October for 8 days prior to our TA cruise. It was a fantastic hotel, the location was perfect. Trevi fountain is about 50 yards from the hotel. The hotel offered a good free breakfast. We would definitely stay there again!

We just spent 8 wonderful days in Rome prior to our TA cruise. There is so much to see. It was great having the 8 days so we didn’t have to rush around. We booked tours of the Colosseum and the Vatican. The tours were fantastic! We also booked the hop-on-hop off bus for two days, highly recommend doing this. Language wasn’t a barrier at all. Rome is wonderful, I can’t wait to go back.

Not a Marriott property, but we just stayed at Hotel delle Nazaoni for 8 days prior to our cruise. Great location, Trevi Fountain is just around the corner. The hotel has a good buffet breakfast (free) to start your day. We were able to make arrangements with the hotel to pick us up from the airport for €65. On our next trip to Rome we would definitely consider staying here again.

Yes you are correct. I’m sure there a lot of cruisers having the same testing stress as well.

I agree! I certainly don’t mind paying the $40, it’s the testing that stresses me. We are on a October TA and I am hoping there are changes to testing.
